Okay so I'm still going to Uni for chemistry but let me take a crack and explaining Quantum entanglement. This said, if I am wrong don't hesitate to call me wrong, I don't want to spread the wrong information!
So, let's start with the most basic stuff in the universe that we all know, atoms. Atoms have a property called Spin, and you can Spin in two ways: Up and Down. When you entangle two atoms, their spin will be in one of two states (up or down). Once entangled you can theoretically seperate them so long as you do not collapse the wave function. I know I am throwing a lot of Physics jargon in here but hang on. So once you have these entangled particles where you want them you can simply detect it, and you can tell whether it is Spin up or Spin down, and since the particles are entangled they will have complimentary spins. So once detected Spin up or Spin down you immediately know the other particle will have the opposite spin. You may ask, well can't we just pick atoms that are spin up/down and arrange them in a morse code like thing? It's not that simple, we can't know a particles spin before we observe it, the mere act of observing it seals in its spin. So these particles will always have to exist in two states at the same time, Spin up and Spin down. This is called Superposition, and it's really a weird concept to think about because there is nothing in the real world that related to that.

From what I know, oil works as a carrier for the capsicine so it gets it off your tongue. I didn't know it can neutralize it. As for alcohol - beer works good for me, I always though it's because it numbs the taste buds or something like that.
I don't know if humans evolved to enjoy spicy food, but the spicy peppers we have today very likely evolved to be spicy to mammals and not birds.
