Just back from visiting Kosovo and enjoying seeing other people's perspectives of the country. I absolutely loved it - some hidden gems in Pristina and Prizren is lovely. The absolute highlights of Kosovo, though, are the Serbian Orthodox monasteries with their incredible frescos. Kosovo is a wonderful country and its people are fantastic.

Always makes you feel like you are a long way from home when you hear the call to prayer...even if you are in Den Haag.

I never expected it in Kosovo but it was beautiful ringing out all over Prizren

Hi Chris. Wonderful video. Can you please suggest if one has to visit Kosovo for a day trip, which city one should choose. It should be Prizren or Pristina. Please suggest what is the best possible way to do this day trip from Tirana ( Albania)

Thank you! Personally I preferred visiting Prizren, though I'm glad I made a day trip to both. I've no idea how to do it from Tirana, as you see from the video I did it from Skopje.

Hi, Chris enjoyed watching your video. just wondering as you have done both the places by traveling in the car is there any other mode of transport to visit both places in one day from Skopje as I'm visiting these places in a week's time. if car is the best way to do it could you tell me the cost of it

There was public transport but I can’t remember if it was train or coach. I strictly had a day trip so would have been able to fit in both cities without a guide/driver. Wasn’t cheap at around 120euro, though the guy was a legend and I ended up spending the next couple of days with him at barely any cost

Thanks for letting me know I'm hoping to get a early bus for a day trip from Skopje. 120€ is a lot for a day trip in Balkans
