Wow that's amazing!!! BTW I also love using Smashbox 24hr hydrating foundation. It doesn't catch on my dry patches! Il be doing a review video on hopefully in the not too distant future😚

This has broken me out in the past but now looking at the ingredient list I dont see why it should. So confusing lol
@@RashiRamalho The formula change, I don't think so... for the last 6 years I've been applying ELDW. I know additional shades have been added. I hope it works for you. I use the YSL, Tatcha and Lancôme primers. For my pores I use the Milk primer. I do want to try the new Chanel and Tom Ford foundations. ❤️

There is such a big difference between cashew and tawny. Cashew is my perfect match. I’ll have to pick up that MAC color corrector.

Aww thank you so much and welcome! On my eyes I have viseart dark mattes palette with nyx pencil eyeliner in brown perfection. Cheeks I have ilia bronzer novelty, nudestix plush paint in fresh Fiji and Charlotte tilbury magic star highlighter. For lips I have on Patrick Ta lipstick in she's not from here. I don't recommend the lipstick as itz very drying. Instead check velvet dragon from Lisa Eldridge

Tawny is my bang on shade match !!!
Hey! Its my favorite foundation. I was given honey bronze 4w1 by the ESTEE LAUDER counter. But it oxidizes on me and becomes too dark. Then I bought Cashew which looks little more olive as I have more beige brown Yellow undertone. When mixed together, it gives the most wonderful shade matching to the heaven!!! I love love love it. I have worn in the wedding and lasted from 8am to 11pm. Though I had to powder it in between, but it remained almost as fresh as it was. Also, it lasts through all the sweat and sheer pressure when Indian relatives touching your face while giving blessings. 😝

@@RashiRamalho hey.. have the same issue.. love the foundation but can’t find a shade match! But I do find my skin shade and tone very very similar to yours.. they gave me honey bronze at the counter which was too dark and oxidises as well.. next time they said I can pick up either cashew or ivory beige (3n1) but I’m confused coz the undertones are completely different but both do tend to look good though cashew definitely is a tad bit warm.. have you tried the ivory beige yet?
3N2 Wheat may work as well. It's nuetral tone.

You’ve helped me finally find my colour match. I even went to get a colour match and they matched me with a very dark shade (using the little handheld machine). They said it can never be wrong! So I wasted my money. Then my second colour match was cashew. But I still wasn’t happy. After watching this I went and purchased Fawn and it matches perfectly. I have a yellow undertone and my chest is slightly lighter to my face and neck. So it’s never been easy for me to find the correct match. Mac staff have not been able to match me either and I’ve wasted so much money. Thank you so much! I’m just wondering with HUDA beauty what shade I should get? Xx

I've also wasted so much money on foundations that don't match sadly. For huda I wear 320G which is slightly too warm than my skintone. I reckon watch my huda beauty luminous matte foundation video which has swatches so you can see how it compares to cashew etc

Thank you so much for this video. I love this foundation as i have extremely oily skin. I tried cashew first and its way too yellow i look like i have jaundiced i tried tawny and it still quite a bit light. Finally i tried fawn and still is quite light. I went to sephora and saw they have it and wanted to get my shade match but basically the associate told me i am Tawny,fawn or cashew but i told her i have tried those already. Im NC37 to NC42 in Mac and im about to give up trying to find my match already 😣 My last hope is to try mixing fawn and cashew. Then im done 😩
Hey Odeza I had the same problem with cashew being too warm. Mixing fawn and cashew definitely worked for me and gave me the right colour match. I suggest also try mixing one part cashew to one part fawn or 1/3rd cashew to 2/3rd fawn. You will most likely find a proportion that will be a close match. I really do love this foundation🥰

Just wondering: did you buy both shades then? I just can't get myself to do that, because these foundations are already expensive to begin with. I did buy two shades from the IT Cosmetics cc cream, because their shade range is so crappy. But I absolutely love the product. I bought a fullsize medium tan, and a travel size tan because I only need the tinest amount of that.
Nah cashew is close enough for me so I just use that. Thank you for telling me about IT cosmetics, everytime I go to their counter I get put off from trying it because of the shade range
Hi Rashi I am Mac NC 38/40.What colour corrector you use,Could you please give me some suggestions.I have hyper pigmentation/dark circles and some pigmentation around mounts.TIA
My favourite is Mac prep and prime highlighter in shade peach lustre. BTW itz not a highlighter, itz just what the product is called. I love the rust colour of this corrector and itz really lightweight so makeup never looks cakey on top

Hi new subscriber here!!:) I am interested in this foundation but I have no clue what I should buy since they are not giving out samples or anything due to covid, Do you have golden and olive undertones or just yellow undertones? That way I can guide myself.
Welcome!! Itz really tough buying foundations when you can't try them out so i feel for you. I have yellow and olive undertones. There is definitely a green tinge to my skin so generally olive foundations tend to be a better match for me than golden foundations which end up looking too warm. In mac I can wear nc 38 and 40 but my closest shade is 3 warm olive in dior. I hope this helps 🙏

I tried those colors and didn't match me. I use Wheat 3n2 or 4n1shell beige. i kind have the same skin tone as you.
Yeap im not surprised. There are multiple ways to combine foundations. You probably have slightly different undertones to me. Glad you found a combo that works!
Always wanted to buy this, but having dry skin, worries me.. i always prep my skin with great skin care, but what if it doesn't work..
I recommend watching a couple of reviews with people that have dry skin. I think that will give you a better idea on how this will work for you🥰

Ilia bronzer is amazing. Itz a smooth creamy powder that is very pigmented and yet blends out beautifully. I have done an entire video on it with a demo so do check it out🥰

I have the same problem with cashew, is a bit to orange for me, an other problem is that i dont like to have to mix foundations😅 and hear in germany this foundation cost is around 50€
Buying 2 foundations is such a pain!! I generally avoid buying foundations where I will have to mix. I still haven't bought shade fawn and just use a small amount of cashew instead 🙃

On my skin I haven't seen any oxidisation
It's great that it looks smooth on your skin.....but on me ahhhhhh....its so much ugly looking....all my skin texture which I dont see normally that they exists are accentuated....I just hated.....being oily I tried all possible ways to make it work....only way which worked was mixing it with estee lauder serum but then within one hour I see my oils coming out...then it defeated the purpose of long wearing foundation

@@RashiRamalho mac studio fix fluid works great and in drugstore loreal freshwear foundation is good....I want to try bobby brown one and in search for the perfect match in Bobby brown ....tried warm natural and honey. Warm natural is looking more neutral on me and lack lil yellowness and honey quite warm and orangey.....do you believe golden natural will work for me....I m mac nc40 in studio fix fluid...which is a great match for me
