In France, drop shipping is viewed as a scam. I was really impressed to see people openly talking about doing it

Not exactly a scam if you do it the right way. I know people who got sued and worst case scenario arrested depending on how strict you country is on copyright. Either way just pick no name brands, tons on aliexpress. Here's a video on the legality of it, so we as a a business community can do things the right legal way.

great explanation but please new comer be advise, there's advertising/shout out/website fee (in this case, instead of keeping $11 its probably $3-5 at most which still is profit but saying $11 is too unreal)
why don’t people just directly buy from ali express rather then buying from our store because we are selling at higher price?
Because people aren't aware that Ali Express exists (mostly in the states). Even if they do know about it the prices are very cheap, and most think that lower price equates to lower quality, and vice versa which isn't always the case (like here).

But how does it work. If customer buys something from me and I use alibaba do I need to store products in my house or how they get shipped to customer

When you Dropship are you just paying with your PayPal on Ali express and then changing the address to your customers address? What do you tell them about shipping time? Doesn’t it usually take a month?

It's been a year since you asked this question, but I don't see an answer. Just in case you are still wondering: Your customer will receive a packing slip/order list without price but will say the fulfillment company's name. It's a bit of a gamble, because your customer could decide to buy direct from them. Hope your year was good and safe. Crazy COVID.

I think whenever you receive an order meaning the person buys from your store, you get the money from them, and you use their money to buy it, then when you order it from that website, you pay the fees, and put their address and they send it to them. I do not know if I am correct I am new to this because I want to get into this once I turn 18

That’s the only thing I don’t get. Or maybe we contact the supplier and ask to sell to me if your focused on a singular product

They are a SUPPLIER. They are supplying the items. They sell them in aliexpress, which is apparently where he buys all of his products. And then he resells them to a customer for a markup. You can buy and resell anything. I can buy and resell a pair of Nikes. Or I can buy stuff at TJmaxx and resell it on a number of different websites where things are sold. As long as you pay for an item, you can resell it. That’s what he’s doing. You as a customer could just go right to aliexpress instead and avoid his markup. But like he said, many people don’t know about aliexpress and they don’t realize that the items he’s carrying are literally from that site where anyone can shop. Customers don’t do enough shopping research and they just buy from something that looks legit not realizing that stuff is on aliexpress cheaper. But aliexpress is hit or miss on the quality and wait time for shipping.
So why don't the customers buy a toothpaste for 2$ from the suppliers instead of giving drop shippers 19$

One of my questions is when doing drop shipping the product is coming from China and sent to your customer in the US when they send it what address do they use as a return address? Is it your business PO BOX or their address in China?

Why would a customer not buy the product directly from aliexpress which is cheaper? I’m assuming that with all these videos out there telling customers where to buy cheaper it would take away from the online high prices. Am I right?
Retailers bring the products closer to the customer's viewpoint/access point. 🛒
As Brennan mentioned, a lot of people do not know about these suppliers or even search for videos like these which show you how to get it @ a reasonable rate.
...Think about a #Market that spends most of its hours in a day just on 1 social platform e.g. IG/FB/LKN, the only place they might search for a product they want would be those platforms + Google (where in most cases would show them the closest store to them)📲

Too long weeks, this is why people choose ebay sellers etc who have the item in their possession in the same country as the buyer. Be sceptical of anyone who ignores questions, there are comments here years old that are asking simply questions which he has ignored. Drop shipping, the price can change, items go out of stock, wrong type or incomplete orders sent. It is a very unsteady way to make money.
The owner of the product usually in China ships it, not the person in the video

@@Olliin Hello, yes that is how it works. Aliexpress acts in a similar way but I think they also act as a broker (middle man) and take a cut of the sale after passing your details on to the manufacturer/wholesaler who will ultimately send out the product. Aliexpress also acts as the guarantor that you receive what you paid for or they refund the payment (there are obviously conditions about that). I have used Aliexpress a few times, the products are cheap but lots you can buy cheaper even in single units directly from the manufacturer /dropshippers on places like eBay. Also the product descriptions are not very detailed much of the time, t-shirts I find have no material details, eg cotton content etc.

im doing drop shipping for almost 10 months now and let me give you a tip! if your searching for a item take how long as you want so i normally take 10 days to find a perfect item and i pay a high amount to facebook ads and google ads so more people see it and more people buy it and i do reviews also but i normally put 21 reviews on my website like always so people can scroll and see what im selling and that they trust the website

You keep the 50 since your paying 150 to send it to the buyer and because from the supplier it costs 150. Basically listing the item price to be more expensive than what the supplier lists it at in order to make a profit

No. Imagine drop shipping like this: your neighbor has a bake sale where they are selling cookies they made. You put up signs in your yard of your neighbor's cookies and tell people they cost $10 when your neighbor is charging $2. They give you $10, you give your neighbor $2, and the neighbor brings the cookies over.
You don't want to involve the neighbor when you are charging more for their products.

A lot of people dont like to talk about this the less people know the better anyone can get started with $0-200 dollar invesment and you can get very wealthy maybe not rich but wealthy and the best thing is you NEVER PAY UPFRONT until YOU get paid based on the price you set up on the product from your store .
However it does required a lot knowledge and selling strategies many people give up because they have no clue what they doing.
