I believe branding is definitely the way to go because I am considering drop shipping but when I order products online , I appreciate small touches that make it feel personal and makes me want to buy again . I want a brand to put my own personal touch . People really appreciate that .
I tried Shopify years ago. I had a 1 month trial. The problem is NO ONE can find your store in that time. You're not listed in google. I didn't have the money to pay for their services, so I quit before the trial was over.

If more people talking about that bisness it starts to be less profitable. to many people are in to it and know about it. Big boom was 10-15 years ago. Now is just fighting with other dropshippes by cutting your profit. There is always somebody who is selling your product. You show that you made 1mil but how much of this is a real profit? Show your cost and then your profit. Show how much you had to spend on fb ads and other things if you want to me transparent with your viewers.

I´d say that dropshipping isnt bad, its a more of getting the money and experience to form an real brand and build it to be proud off, so from what i have learned dropshipping can be used long term, though you need to create many diffrent stores for it to be. It also needs to slowley from into a real website. If we take Smartdrones, their flying drones that run on electricity and are also cool. If you wanna expand that shop to have more items in it, you need to have similair items to it. So if you have smartdrones you could add like electric small helicopter or even drones, though drones are very expensive. So droppshipping is mostly for the money and experience to start your own brand, but could be used longterm.

This video really changed my whole mind of dropshipping and shopify businesses
I think the only "sustainable" dropshipping is one product stores. You have tools that you need to see what's trending on amazon and what stuff sells for there and that's gonna translate to profits for anybody one product dropshipping as they're still hot on the market. If a store fails there's always just using that shopify domain to make another one product store if you don't wanna make multiple at once and risk losing money and shut down the failing one entirely. You're rebranding whatever you make so it's like throwing shit at the wall and see what sticks.

It's not good enough going by the trendiest cus the trendiest in one category can still be pretty sheit on revenue. Using this myself since yesterday since Dan Vas recommended it and said he started out with it himself and numbers have been accurate. WOuld also look into ECOM king's tutorial vids just build a one product store using his template and following what he does in a video. Obviously use your own product doe.

As if dropshipping has to mean just choosing the first random supplier you see on alixpress.... no.... i never used alixpress i worked hard and spend long long long hours long days finding and building good relationships with good suppliers
And that paid off...
The business model is simply...
You market and maintain relations with the costumers and the supplier produces and ships the item...
The entire job is literally dealing with costumers! (And well i mean not just that but you get the point)
This idea that dropshipping is about finding the cheapest products and adding a massive markup relaying on impulse purchases is scummy and unsustainable indeed...

All businesses are hard to get off the ground. Dropshipping is one of them. Luckily we have Jordan and other great dropshippers out there to walk us through it so we dont make the mistakes that they did.

don't let this discourage you. Go for it and you too will learn a few things and eventually ditch it as he did for something better. He was able to do that because of what he learned by doing dropshipping. Take risk fellow entrepreneurs

If this discourages people, they shouldn't be entrepreneurs. Real entrepreneurs will want to KNOW this because it's reality. The closer you stick with reality, the higher your chances of success will be. Entrepeneurs shouldn't let anything discourage them, and only use that to encourage them to continue.

Or they skip through stuff thinking it's "common knowledge." Or sometimes they've been doing it so long they forget all the little steps they took in the beginning. More often than not though they like being vague to get you to buy a course where they will teach you more in-depth stuff about it as you mentioned. Wanting to pad their pockets, disregarding that starting a business in the beginning can get expensive real quick it we aren't careful. Paying for a course is just another added expense on top of websites, advertisements, products, etc. Kind of hard to purchase things when your account is at zero lol
If I ever made a course it definitely wouldn't be thousands of dollars. I love the expectation that people have that kind of money lying around in this current economy, let alone years ago.

I just started a drop shipping webiste for fun (have a decent job). A bunch of dishonesty on here. Definitely no one’s fault other than ours that the thing we started isn’t working out but this dream is also soaked in deception. Not to mention alot of products your selling are trash and piss people off when they receive lol. Anyone reading this with a thick wallet make sure you receive the product and inspect it for quality before you start putting a bunch of money into ads selling a terd. That is not what happened to me but it took a great while before we found something that didn’t deserve to be a secondary toy in a happy kids meal at your local McDonald’s. Always loved watching this guys content though has a great way of making ya feel motivated.
