I've never used the spiral bit before, I use the cnc bits all the time ,I love them and so cheap, definitely going to order some spiral ones..I surpose it's just what you get used too...it's a sub from me.
I use a free download called inkscape. Works great! If you look at my videos, there are several that talk about the image transfer process. If you get stuck send me a message
I like your work, especially the burned effect. Where do you get your bits from? I got some from the States recently but the postage and VAT was crippling. Thanks
SpaceWalla hi there and thanks for that. I generally bulk order the bits from China, then I sell some on to people who are interested. I use the 1/8th shank router bits, commonly used in cnc machines. They are much cheaper than your average bit
I.just use regular printer paper, th trick.is that it has to be a lazer printer and either cellulose thinners or acetone. Also it doesnt work well on dark wood, but anything else is fine
Terrence Powell I import all.my bits from China usually and I prefer to.use the 1/8th shank bits. Much cheaper than the 1/4 inch..you will need a collet.reducer as well. I sell them in the UK and Europe but.you should be able.to.find them on ebay
Yes its lacquer thinners , also known as cellulose thinners. And yes the sign is flipped, like a mirror image, that way when I apply it to the wood it's correctly oriented. Thanks for watching!
hello i wish i could be able to inform some link to buy these cutters and which models to use and if u can post here the pictures of the cutters in the comment. thanks
Hi There, any 1/4 inch router will do, as for the bits, I use 1/8th shank bits designed for cnc machines with a 1/4 to 1/8th collet reducer. Depending on your country, eBay or Amazon are your best bet. Look for v-groove bits 10 degree for fine work up to 60 degree for outlining letters
Great job
❤ thank you
Johanathon.....Wow , haven't seen this one. LOL! Learn a little bit each time. Thanks!
Glad you liked it! Lots more to come. Replied to that email but it kept bouncing back for.some reason

That is excellent. I love the chopped sides!
Thank you! Easy effect with an angle grinder or a sander to achieve. Just go slow and don't remove to much at one time. Thanks for watching!
What a great sign. Love it!

Top draw, looks the biz especially with the paint effect.

Great video Jonathon! Now I understand how you get the image onto the wood! ;o)
Simples!
It is now I've seen your video... was in the dark before that!
Great idea!! What paper you use?
@DavidBoston-rx2yi just regular paper with a lazer jet printer, very simple.way ti transfer complex images to wood, fast
Do you have a video on how to transfer the image? What software do you use?

What kind of paper did you print on before you applied the thinner? :)

Is that Lacquer Thinner your using and was the sign printed backwards on the paper.

Thank you
What is the name of the chemical, good job
It's cellulose thinners, pure acetone works as well. Not nail polish remover! To dilutes
And needs to be a laser printer, doesn't work with ink jet
very good :-)
thank you
