- 'Nostalgic_Vintage_Retro' (NVR) drive along the 5th Ave, Manhattan, New York City in 1940s. Compare street views back then and now, driving habits of the Past. How much of a difference 80+ years of progress makes? Don't you think that not only pavement was better back then?

I Love History
Love the funky 🎶 🎵!
Many more buses today and no horse drawn vehicles. Glad to see even more USA flags being displayed from buildings now than then. 🇺🇸
Get real
@@domenicv7962 What do you mean?
@@kellycoleman715 There was never a more patriotic generation than from the 1940s. Bringing up more flags flying today suggests today we are more so than they. Today's generation is watered down and becoming more evil by the day. I could elaborate, but not feeling it.
scaffolding everywhere is such an eyesore these days.
Fifth Ave. was twice as wide and there was parking on both sides of the street. Now it's much narrower and no parking. I would never want to go there.
No government tracking what a relief
I wonder what determined which buildings were "historic" and thus spared, and which weren't, replaced by glass and steel. And we have to be honest: getting stuck behind a horse and buggy must've been a stroke-inducing aggravation.
Legal jaywalking 😮
EXCELENTE THANKS 🙏👍
NOTICE HOW MEN SO MANY HATS
In a way it looks better today.
Nothing looks better today.

You need to line up the shots more exact
The focal length of the used cameras differ so greatly... Not much better you can do with available imaging.
@@kaktotak2521 I see but but if there is any way to, it would help the show.
In some way, its very similar to today!
