- Hey guys! Today is another episode from my series Thrift Store Makeovers, where I take a used, worn out item (OR sometimes from yard sales or off of ebay) clean it up, fix it up and decorate it. I love hunting through thrift stores to find old, rejected items and then decorating them and putting my own style on them to turn them into new pieces of art. I've definitely missed these thrift flips and I want to do more thrifting soon!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 27 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try LOL).

“Jimmy” here, I just finished watching this video with my daughter. At the end of the video I told her that I was the person who made the original art piece. The utter face of shock she had😂. Here is some backstory to that horrendous artwork, I originally made it in 2005 at a summer camp. I believe I was around 12-13. I brought it home and hung it up on my wall. Few years pass, and I was moving out of my childhood home and going off to college. With that, I cleaned out my room and donated what I didn’t need to my closest thrift store. Now you have it!😂

I don't know if this will turn into a "comment bomb ", but imagine if she designed a deck of cards with all her characters, and made an actual card game available on her store. For example, Pickle as the King of hearts, Derp as the jester, etc..

Honestly, this is probably one of my favorite thrift store makeovers, they are just so cute! The butt cheek blob is giving me heavy minion vibes for some reason, and jimmy, I can’t look at his face and not laugh. Great job moriah, I always enjoy your videos! 🙂👍

@@mileysutton7961 The only thing I've seen is a few comments where people seem to want information like the baby's name, and to see the baby or related content on the channel. Honestly it should all be up to Moriah what she does and what she is comfortable with. I really admire Moriah's decision to respect her child's privacy. It really should be up to the child how much information she wants about herself online, when she’s old enough to make that decision. That said, imagine how cool it would be for Moriah's daughter to say to her peers who her mom is! 😄 I think this kid will have an unfair advantage with art projects too!

hey moriah! just a tip, since you usually paint over the clay in a different color, you could also see if this brand sells a larger bucket/package of uncolored clay :)this also might take less time to cover up since you don’t need a base coat to cover the vibrant colors of the clay.
I think she’s stated before that she’s using this clay because she already has it, not because she likes it or anything. It’s just what’s on hand and there’s no reason to buy more until it’s gone.
I regularly use clay, and mine's white but I still paint a white base coat on top 😬 it makes it easier because the paint doesn't always cover the clay (at least if it's air-dry like mine that activates with water) so it just is an all around good idea to start with

I got my Shelly and Eustace plushies a couple days ago and I cannot stress enough how well made and durable and beautiful these two are!! Every sprinkle is embroidered and the frosting on their heads is sooo soft. The faces are just so cute and also embroidered and the plushies are nice and firm so no floppy heads or legs or anything. Worth the wait! Moriah’s plushies do not disappoint :)
Did you get any tracking or a notice at least to say that they were on their way?

hey! suggestion: you should customize a dollhouse! you can make clay figures of your characters and makes rooms for each of them! It doesn’t have to be huge but I think it would be an interesting idea! plus you could display it in your art room! I believe this is an original idea so sorry if anyone has already said this! :)

The fact that Moriah had a child and still decided to make content for us is dedication.
I mean it’s her job and it’s not a big deal she told us two weeks ago so get over it. She’s been posting videos during the time of her baby for the past year so it’s not surprising she posted another video.
It is Moriah's job to make content for her channel. I'm sure if she's managed for over a year to go through pregnancy and look after a child while also running her channel, she can continue to do so. She talked about having a better work/life balance in the video where she revealed her baby, which I'm sure helps. All in all, I just hope Moriah is happy in what she does. I'm sure she's a great mom to her Mini ME as well.
