Still stands out as a masterpiece even now. I certainly am pleased to see that the story of the Dark Times is not yet done and you passed it over to Carson so that he can continue your proud work. What I would very much like to see is Alfred being sent for scrap back when he was simply 98462 under the Fat Controllers orders after the near fatal accident he'd previously caused with Henry and Alfred somehow escaping the cutters torch as he was able to get a whole new identity and continue to work in England before eventually turning his malice to Sodor once more. Someone had to have bought him and saved him from that fate either to fuel his hatred further or because they believed they were saving a harmless engine. Alfred was pegged as the main villain but nevertheless there was clear human involvement. His crew certainly had to enable Alfred to do what he did and no doubt it was an inside job for people to even get the fat controller to buy back the very engine he had once sent away; of course the fat controller did not know this.
The only way I see 98462 escaping scrap is if he somehow stole another engine's identity. What if there was a green B12 named Alfred who assumed 98462 was a poor, harmless brother engine sent for scrap and tried to help him escape, only for 98462 to steal his identity and have it so he's the one to get scrapped?
My word Richard. That was absolutley awesome. Defintley the best trainz Thomas work so far. THe detail is crisp. I watched it in full screen and it was crystal clear. I salute you sir. That episode was perfection!
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Skarloey123, you have created a great seies. The writing and everything is so well done, I'm almost speechless. I cannot wait until the next part.
I may be new here, but from what I've seen, This has got to be the best non-canon Thomas-related series I have ever seen (on RUclips that is). You've taken elements from the books and the television series to make something so fantastic, so thrilling, that it just makes me want to view it over and over... and you've made most of these character-models on Trainz06... it's just fantastic. Keep up the good work.
A very good theory and definitely one that deserves consideration :) By the next episode we'll see who was caught in the crossfire of the explosion; by the looks of it Thomas was probably killed. It certainly is an interesting twist to have a Steam engine as a villain because normally in the Thomas universe; an evil character is normally a Diesel.
@@AwdryFan1997 Well, as I see it Alfred is 98462 in this, as in the next part when Cecil confronts Alfred the former responds to the latters Statement, that he just followed Cecil's orders:"I never once said '98462, go and destroy a goddamn station'".
I think that the damage was not shown because there was not a model of Henry with that kind of damage at the time this was filmed. The writer definitely was clever with his resources, he made it seem like Henry had horrific physical damage even though the model was probably the same one that was in all the shots Henry was used in. Sorry for the rant I really like the work on films behind the scenes.
It adds a twist to this story but I think the sudden bang that seemed like a general defect was the creepiest of them all. Henry dying naturally definitely seemed creepier than the fact he really was murdered. You really do know how to tell a good story though; keep up the good work.
The impact kind of changed is all I can say. I guess when I thought Henry died because of his illness I started comparing it to the sudden loss of a loved one in real life which is why I considered it more Disturbing but either way I love the twist and I hope to see more :)
I understand now. It's a lot better than hearing the engines use interjections such as "bust my buffers," "fizzling fireboxes," "bust my boiler," and other sayings.
One thing that still puzzles me about this series is the engine that put the gunpowder wagons at the station that engine is bound to be still alive since he would more than likely have left the area before the explosion unless it was a kamikaze mission.
The reason why Alfred isn’t used in the series because he was killed during the war here where I am on sodor. It’s a real place after all. Alfred was a war hero and this film makes everyone think he is the exact opposite
After seeing this episode I was surprised at what occurred. Alfred is definitely one sly and evil engine. I'm sure you'll have him meet his demise at some point but if you release him he's gonna get crashed into a TNT factory by lots of irate fans.
When Alfred was finally needed on the railway since TFC needed another engine; he could finally put his plan into action. Henry was the perfect target 5 years ago to pave the way for it since Henry wasn't that well and TFC (and his engines) would've assumed Henry died naturally.
The dark times series was created by Skarloey123. However.... despite this amazing series no one has heard from him in years😐. Hopefully he's doing all well.
This episode is both sad and scary!Alfred's grinned face reminds me of the Grinch. One things puzzles me though about the episode.Who were the other B12s Gordon mentioned to Alfred?
It really is awesome but I have to say Henry's demise seemed less disturbing when I found out he was murdered. Hopefully "The Mad Bomber" sees this episode; he'll love the explosion.
>>Santa Fe 3751: I smell an ass. >>Alfred: Why am I in America? >>Union Pacific 844: For an American ass kicking. >>Pennsylvania Railroad 1361: Yeah, say your prayers! >>Alfred: Never, I will win. >> BNSF 4723: HA HA! Sumo slam! >>Alfred: Damn these American locomotives! >>Southern Pacific 4449: Splinter punch. >>Narrator: Who'll win this epic battle between American and British locomotives?
The opportunity just did not present itself till The Fat Controller needed him as Alfred probably would've been nowhere near the Fat Controllers railway. Having Henry killed finally gave Alfred the chance he needed.
Not gonna lie Alfred (along with Diesel 10) used to scare the hell out of me as a kid but I stopped getting scared of them when I think I was around 8 or 9. I also remember shortly getting scared of when the grabber was about to get Stepney so I ran upstairs and when Henry arrived at the haunted forest as well as sort of when the Old Iron Bridge engine fell off but they were only one time things.
Hmm.... Now I wonder if Alfred was the one responsible for Henry's death. The gunpowder causing the big bang makes sense but we'll soon see all in good time :)

Carson 🤢
I remember watching this when I was a kid when Alfred exploded the station I was surprised I researched to find a part 2
Same here.
Wait this is Part 2
Me to
Yeah me too
same and so many memorys
My word Richard. That was absolutley awesome.

OH MY GOD!!! AN EVIL STEAM ENGINE!!! Now that's brilliant!
Excellent work! Loved it!
Poor Thomas :(
back when this was a revolutionary idea

you know what, that was bloody marvelous. you should make more videos like this mate. brilliant story line.

Oh! No! Gordon! Alfred is going to head towards the station!
Better hurry Gordon ! Before it is too late!
Womp hope he doesn't lol
@@illtellmumkid
Gordon: NO! GOD, NO!
That's one thing we'll always remember Alfred for :D The first engine to ever shunt punt someone on Sodor.
the rise of a new fanfic character was born
This series is very interesting. It would make a great prime time television special for older Thomas fanatics.
I had to laugh when Gordon said " Oh shut up; you little blue rat" :D
I love this series. I especially like how you mentioned 98462.
Yes I agree. 98462 and Alfred would be depicted as the same character in later projects. I find the original depiction more interesting.
@@AwdryFan1997 Well, as I see it Alfred is 98462 in this, as in the next part when Cecil confronts Alfred the former responds to the latters Statement, that he just followed Cecil's orders:"I never once said '98462, go and destroy a goddamn station'".
how come the front of Henry wasn't shown? I'm quite curious to see the damage.
Gallifreyan Warrior just a thing to make the scene all the more sadder, as to show the viewer that the damage is just too severe to be shown
I think that the damage was not shown because there was not a model of Henry with that kind of damage at the time this was filmed. Oh well, I was wrong by 2 wheels. You did another excellent job on this Dark times episode. I can't believe we've lost Thomas......
you are in trouble Alfred!!!!!!!!

The RUclips Video that took my innocence away over 12 years ago...
Thats it, I am making Alfred into Alfredo sauce for me pasta, eh?
TheStaring Shulker Oh I Get It Alfredo Sauce Xd 😀😂😂😂😂😁😹😸😸😄😇😃😊
Alfredo sauce is a good counterpart to Bolognese sauce! Makes me wonder if there could be trains named Fettuccine and Lasagne?
I can't wait to see this remastered
"Good night, my brother"
I hiccuped when I heard that
Well alfred is even worse because he didn't change but Timothy changed
Timothy sucks so he doesn't count.
This is the "Sodor Dark Times" There are some funny moments but happiness went out the window when this series began.
Gordon never realized that Alfred was 98462
I understand now. It's a lot better than hearing the engines use interjections such as "bust my buffers," "fizzling fireboxes," "bust my boiler," and other sayings.
Why!why! Why! Did you killed my friends Alfred! Now my dad Gordon has to defeat you!
You need real friends son.
I’ll still never understand how 2 people were able to lift Gordon back on to the rails
Ah well it's nice to know your character is well known. :)
Oh man I remember first seeing this, my feeling's were beyond words.
Your videos are great I can't wait for the next sodor dark times!
One thing that still puzzles me about this series is the engine that put the gunpowder wagons at the station that engine is bound to be still alive since he would more than likely have left the area before the explosion unless it was a kamikaze mission.
Alfred sorta reminds us of Diesel 10. No wonder a steamie is showing his realm of evil.
Funally the real creater of alfred
The reason why Alfred isn’t used in the series because he was killed during the war here where I am on sodor. It’s a real place after all. Alfred was a war hero and this film makes everyone think he is the exact opposite
This is soo amazing and dramatic!

Alfred is never gonna be number three. He is deadly. In bad romance, I do not want his disease.
Awesome! You did a real good job with the plot. I can't wait to see what happens next.
How did you do that explosion?
When Alfred was finally needed on the railway since TFC needed another engine; he could finally put his plan into action. Henry was the perfect target 5 years ago to pave the way for it since Henry wasn't that well and TFC (and his engines) would've assumed Henry died naturally.
This really does deserve more views.
This is awesome I like this series because its Dramatic
This was so emotional
Alfred is more evil than diesel 10 !
......THAT was BRILLIANT
This is an emotional video wow but whoever did this amazing!!!!!!!

make a 3rd, this series is too good to let it go :)

when the gun poter goes off at the end. It gives you the cold shoulder.
Why do I have a strange feeling that explosion wasn't from Knapford?
Anyway, fantastic series here Rich, cannot wait for the conclusion. :)
Lee \m/
i see thanks for clearing that up for me now i know which version i need :D
Gordon was going through a switch, but Alfred drove onto the switch and pushed him off the rails.
The ending is so sad
This series is getting better, and darker....
GAME OVER
Perfect to see an Alfred video by the original creator of the character himself.
At Last, Gordon gets a STRONG storyline
The music towards the end made me think of Top Gear but then Top Gear was known to throw in epic music in some cases :D
I like the way you included the old B12 in thomas and friends "98462" its was very clever
GRRRRRRRRR ALFREEEEED!
Alfred is a GENOCIDAL MONSTER!!!!
Those are wise words to say in a time like this...
this is a good series, thankfully it's not canon.
Gallifreyan Warrior I want this thing to be the way the series dies.
Thank god you corrected him :) I imagine that idiot would've probably been on his way to an asylum if you hadn't :D
*freaked out and in awe* what...the.....hell
hmm- good point. If i were that manager, I'd've said "push off" of "shunt in that siding on their own" for safety, but then thats just me
Pretty good episode so far.
Not Thomas. I am glad in part four that Alfred's ass died.

Don't spoil it god damn it

Uh-oh. I got a bad feeling about Alfred.
I love this series!! Iv just subscribed!! Ive always wanted to see something like this with thomas the tank engine, great work!! :) 5 stars!!

- Thomas Percy Edward and James: A BOMB?! (Explosion) Gordon: NO GOD NO!!!
Looking forward to the directors cut :D
is Alfred's sidekick a Robinson 04?
It would appear so.

come on Gordon you can do this
That was Epic man
It really is awesome but I have to say Henry's demise seemed less disturbing when I found out he was murdered. Hopefully "The Mad Bomber" sees this episode; he'll love the explosion.
awsome work
If they had phoned the station about the gunpowder after Alfred left nobody would’ve died!
This was one of the first Thomas videos I saw It didn't scare me but made me think.
The end was soooo freaking scary!!! I hate Alfred now knowing he's a villian, who killed Henry.
