- in 1984, one school holiday, I sat, for the first time, in the front seat of a car. A strange event I can clearly remember from 40 years ago. The journey that day was to Cliffe Castle in Keighley, driven there by my Uncle Stewart.
Sadly, on 2nd January, my Uncle passed away after a long illness. it seemed like it was time to pay another visit to the Castle and take a walk and explore with my memories..... and with Tom 🙂
I often took my kids to Cliffe Castle in the 80's! There was a brilliant parrot there that swore like a trooper - happy memories! Thanks Matt
Ha....brilliant. I wonder who taught it the words 🙂
Sorry for your loss Matt…lovely video, great memories for you 👍
Thank you 😊
Good to see the old place again 👍
😊
Mum & Dad used to take me here in the early 60s….I’ve taken our kids in the 2000s and this summer we’re going to take our Grandchildren…. Great place for a day out….as you say brings back happy memories…😃
If I went back today, I would see different things again as there is so much to see there. Definitely not leaving it another 40 years 🙂
Welcome back to keighley 😊
Cheers 🙂
You have missed so much off, what a shame
Was merely a whizz through my past, rather than an in-depth look at the museum......but hopefully enough to make people realise it's a great place to visit 😀 👍
