I have tried most of these offerings and here are my thoughts:
American Vodka - Definitely good for cocktails, but nothing else, not even shots.
French Vodka - Indeed every bit as good as suggested. Good any way you like it. Buy it.
London Dry Gin - Good for cleaning, not drinking. Skip it.
Silver Tequila - Actually better than you think. My wife loves it.
Anejo Tequila - Very good indeed, though it does have a more unique flavor.
Reposado Tequila - Haven't found it for sale yet.
Lime Margarita - I sure like it on a hot summer day, but others have commented that it's too sweet for them.
Strawberry Margarita - Don't know, not a strawberry fan.
Spiced Rum - I like it. Very smooth, but maybe a bit too sweet.
Irish Cream Liquor - Excellent! Buy it.
Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey - Indeed very good sipper, shooter and mixer.
Small Batch Bourbon - Very enjoyable. You won't be disappointed at all.
    7 Year Small Batch - I wasn't impressed.
Bottled-in-Bond - Not as good as you'd think. Disappointing.
Blended Canadian Whiskey - I hear good things about it from multiple other people, but haven't tried it myself.
Irish Whiskey - Fantastic! Buy it.
Blended Scotch - Hated it. Apparently I'm not a peat fan.
XO Cognac - Haven't yet tried, but maybe I will after seeing this video.

I trust the Kirkland Brand more than almost any other brand out there. Almost everything they do is quality. I won't hesitate to try something new if it is a Kirkland brand. I have sampled hundreds of tequilas, many of them fresh at the distillery. The Kirkland Anejo Tequila is one of the best that I have ever tasted.

I must disagree on one point, however. As a big fan of Sailor Jerry's vs Cpt Morgan, i found the Kirkland Spiced Rum to be most excellent. Personally, i found the spiced rum to be a better counterpart to Sailor Jerry's, not-so-much Captain Morgan.

A very comprehensive and useful survey! For historical reasons (last time I shopped at Costco, they didn't have these store brands), I've never tried any of these. Now I have the Sour Mash on my list as I recently rejoined Costco. Maybe the basic vodka too. I might also try the London Dry Gin, but without a lot of optimism. I am a G&T aficionado, strongly preferring Sapphire. This gin might be good enough for parties at least though.

Not quite sure who is doing your tasting and research but I find the Kirkland Bourbon tasty. I enjoy "hot" as you call them bourbons and this one fits the bill as an enjoyable pour. Also I wouldn't consider 51% alcohol a "hot" bourbon as technically speaking Bottle In Bond is only 1% lower and is the agreed upon Federally regulated standard for bourbon.

It took me almost two years to get through a bottle that I had to eventually start mixing into an infinity bottle with other stuff just to be able to drink it. The newer Barton’s line are solid as hell though especially the barrel strength.

The French vodka is an all time great buy. One of my personal favorites.
But I moved to tequila and can say that the Anejo for the money is an absolute banger.
It does have those flavor intensifying additives, that’s all the rage with celebrity tequilas and the big pricey bottles like 1942 & Claze.

I've never tried Kirkland brand alcohol, but if it's anything like their other products, then it should be a good bang for buck. Have been a BJ's member for the last 3-4 years, but prior to that I had Costco membership for a few years, and while I do like BJ's for the overall experience (which also includes the location I shop the most), Costco brand (Kirkland) seems to be on a level above BJ's home brand (Wellsley Farms, Berkley Jensen). So, if you're not shopping name brands and home brand products make up the majority of your purchases, Costco/Kirkland is the better choice IMHO. On the other hand, other factors, such as store location/hours/shopper demographics/congestion level also matter, which really makes it a specific choice for every person (and that's the reason I stick with BJ's, given that I shop at my location 90% of the time vs other locations). Also, as far as I know you don't have to be a Costco or BJ's member to shop at their liquor stores. So, for alcohol at least membership doesn't matter one way or another.

With that said for $11 more I can buy both 1.75 L of Bombay Sapphire which I prefer for G&T or 1.75L of Tanqueray which is my martini gin.
I also don't find the bottled strawberry or regular margarita objectionable, especially in the budget party arena and taste much better than anything mixed with Jose Cuervo, not to mention any of the other premade budget bottles from the grocery store

I haven't seen the Kirkland Single Malt Scotches in AGES! I agree with the 24yr verdict. Good, not great, certainly not a Kirkland single malt. The 22year, if ever found again is magic, as is their 18year. I used to enjoy the Kirkland Gin, and it's fine for a G&T, or martinis for the masses, but I stopped buying the stuff. I think the formula was changed, but it ain't what it used to be, and certainly isn't Hendricks, Beefeater, or Tanqueray 10 when it comes to a proper martini. And then there is their XO Cognac. Sorry, I heartily disagree with this review. It is superb, and hard to find. If you like cognac, GRAB a bottle when you find it. Well, I'm off to my detox meeting...

Both vodkas are unbeatable at their prices. The Canadian whiskey is a very good mixer. Not enough flavor to compare with American bourbon.

Kirkland/Costco always strive put put out a good product. However, if a product sells well then they won't change a thing because it very profitable. Must not be that bad then. If a product doesn't sell then they will figure out why and change it for the better (hopefully). SO, if Costco still sells a product that you feel is subpar then it is liked very well by consumers and will stay the same.

All of the Kirkland tequila is da truth. The silver MUST be mixed with something. No reason to buy premium name brand tequila unless you prefer to pay more than $100 a bottle

@@ericktellez7632 generally I agree, but once a fruit juice or soda is mixed I think shelf quality matters less and the average person at home isn’t making a complex cocktail. They are making rum and Cokes, or Jack and Cokes.

Of course there was different tasting reviews about the spiced rum... They compared a 35% watered down spiced rum to a 46% spiced rum... They should have compared sailor Jerry's spiced to the Kirkland spiced rum

I don’t remember seeing hard liquor at the Costco I go to. Mind you it’s 120 miles away (so I only go twice a year).
I don’t think Costco is allowed to sell Liquor in my state (Oregon). That’s unfortunate.
To be fair…. My state is making it too expensive for me to truly enjoy alcohol (which is probably a good thing) 😂
I love drinking but I can’t stand the taste of most alcohol. The stuff I like is really expensive and I’m cheap 😆
I actually want to know if the $130 bottle of “don perrion” champagne is worth getting.
Someday I desperately want to splurge and sip on an amazing campaign (but no way I’m spending much more than that) to try it.

@Toni, This is true, no hard alcohol in Oregon Costco stores. I’m a life long Portlander, but recently moved across the river to Vancouver, WA. Even tho I’m only 20 minutes away from my old home, I’m still shocked to see liquor at Fred Meyer, Target, and Costco lol. It’s nice tho to not have to make an extra trip to a liquor store when I need a bottle.
