Deep eddy is actually better than Tito's for significantly less. I can get a 1.75 of deep eddy's for $20. Tito's just keeps going up in price. They're both made in Texas, deep eddy's is such a slept on vodka.
I completely agree with Grey Goose being too expensive at the $60 dollar price point.... but two things 1) I find it for $40 for a HANDLE size at Total Wine now. Much better price, 2) It does not deserve the rampant hate it gets. It's a smooth Vodka. It's not my favorite, but it's for sure in the rotation. Favorite is Stoli Elit!
I definitely love Chopin gluten free, potato vodka from Poland. I'm Mexican and i grew up with tequila and mezcal. I never going to change that. But Chopin is my other option for vodkas
I can’t stand vodka BUT most of my friends and my mother do enjoy it occasionally therefore I keep Grey Goose, Kettle One and flavored New Amsterdam on hand for them. Mom always liked Stoli when I was growing up and the very few sips of Vodka I’ve had I prefer GG or Tito’s. I actually don’t drink alcohol at all now (just a personal preference and value, not a religious or addiction related related decision) but appreciate videos about what others like!
Agree 100%, I discovered Tito's before it "hit big", and started telling all my friends. It's so great for such a good value...and ANY mixed drink is just amazing with Tito's. Tito's and Tonic, Tito's and Citrus Soda, Tito's Cosmos, Tito's Dirty and Clean Martini's...it's all just amazing. BTW, if you want a GREAT Vanilla Vodka, just get some quality vanilla extract, and mix to taste...it's amazing. I often use my Soda Stream to make "cream soda" with quality vanilla extract and simple syrup, and THAT is an amazing drink...Tito's and Cream Soda!
You guys HAVE to try Deep Eddy's. It is truly exceptional and their flavored varieties are clearly above the competition. Once you go Deep Eddy's, you won't go back.
Never been much of a “drinker”, so when a bartender suggested “Tito’s”, I thought, “Mexican vodka. Why not? They’ve done some terrific things with tequila.” I bought a bottle for my dad to try. His comment was- “Jeff, I don’t know how to tell you this. There was a mixup at labor & delivery. You actually belong to a rich. We’ve been looking for your real parents since you were born.” (I think he considers Tito’s expensive)
As a bartender absolut is the go to, great vodka at a brilliant price and the flavours help mixology. If you're looking for cheaper I always recommend Russian Standard no tricks no burn inoffensive and cheaper than almost anything else.
It's vodka. The idea is that it has no taste. I like Russian Standard, straight from the freezer. The next best thing is just Ever-clear 190 with ice.... No pretense at all.
Svedka is a very high-quality reasonably priced vodka; I did a blind taste test which was easy because I’m actually blind and I couldn’t tell the difference between it and absolute vodka
@@haydenjones2788 I guess you never heard of accessibility on an iPhone; my phone reads text to me and I use dictation to type replies to nimrods like you! You’re not a very smart person, are you?
At its price Russian Standard is excellent, why is it not on this list ? Not available in the USA ? As a Brit, in the premium range, I'd mention Chase Vodka, distinctive flavour and made from potatoes. Personally dislike Grey Goose intensely.
There is a gross chemical aftertaste in greygoose, kirkland, and absolute. Smirnoff triple 7, titos, and stolichnaya are my go to but personal preferance.
All the vodkas that you prefer consistently beat Grey Goose, Belvedere, kettle one, etc., in blind tasting competitions by industry professionals. You’re not crazy you’re just correct.
Obviously, this is all subjective, so buyer beware. It is interesting to note that, about 15 years ago, the New York Times Food Section published a double-blind taste test among three "experts" in the field. All three...unanimously...selected Smirnoff as the purest, most flavor-free of the lot...and all three were shocked when they selected a middle-shelf vendor as their favorite. Since I am no aficionado, Smirnoff has become my "house" vodka...and I've had no complaints.
I find that hard to believe. Smirnoff very much has a taste to it, I can even pic it out when made into a mixed drink. Not a fan of it. If you want a clean tasting budget vodka, try Svedka. Clean taste, no discernable flavor, no bite to it and very affordable. You're welcome.
I enjoy your lists, and I "almost" agree with it ... with two caveats: 1. I will never understand how Absolute Vodka enjoys the popularity that it does. I find it uninteresting on (any?) every level. 2. While I understand you couldn't rank every Vodka on the market, I think you missed a very important segment. Two wonderful Polish potato Vodkas that should not be overlooked by someone who really enjoys Vodka are "Luksusowa" and "Żubrówka". If you haven't tried them, you should.
I’ve never seen a top list as close to 100% as this. Just blew my mind. And all the comments seem to agree. Stoli is the educated drinkers cheap go-to. Titos is the Vodka for everything else. It’s the closest to tasteless as I’ve personally tried, and the dog thing is just the cherry on top. Used to be a fan of Kettle One but mostly for show (it’s still good, just tends to be boosted in price at bars).
I am a fan of Belvedere Vodka. It is a bit pricey, but it is the best all purpose vodka for Straight, or mixed in drinks like Martinis or Gibson's. Shouldn't be wasted on a Vodka & Grapefruit. Smirnoff is fine for that.
News flash: ALL vodka sucks. Some just suck less. If the best thing you can say about any vodka is that it is flavorless and is "smooth" , then you know you have a crap drink on your hands...
My original go-to vodka was Eristoff, but because of some weird-ass legal reasons, this vodka from Georgia 🇬🇪 (the country, not the state) is impossible to find it in the States anymore. My current go-to? Reyka, straight out of Iceland 🇮🇸. And what a vodka! Amazing on the rocks!
My mother in law loved so I got it for her. Here in SEA we have Kulov made by Red Bull that is smooth and better than most. It is also priced right to attract Expats.. $13 for a liter
Don't knock the Kirkland Signature American vodka. The taste and quality are on par with Absolut, but at half the price. Here in western Washington, at the nearest booze emporium you can expect to pay $28 for a 1.75l bottle of Absolut, and that's before sales tax and state liquor tax, which run the price up to $43. The KS American is $22 for a 1.75l *AFTER* sales and state liquor taxes. That's a pretty screaming deal. FTR, I drink my vodka over rocks with either no mixer or a small squirt of Crystal Light or Mio if I'm craving a hint of sweetness.
Crystal Head is the smoothest vodka I've ever tried but too expensive for everyday use. In general if I'm having a mixed drink I'll use economy vodkas like Fleishmann's or Burnetts. If I'm making a vodka martini I'll use Ketel One, which is closely behind Crystal Head to my palate. And I agree about Grey Goose; beautiful bottle but harsh.
Vodka is colorless, odorless, flavorless, neutral grain spirit. The only purpose is to enhance and not detract a mixer....As such anybody that pays more than the $10 Sobieski costs is either ignorant or showing off
Since we're here, I will give my nod to Stoli and Tito's, however, I think that Iceberg Vodka out of Canada is a bit of a sleeper. Want something different? I was gifting Polish Zubrowka (bison grass vodka) for awhile after my brother visited there and the place he stayed liked "Refreshing Drink" of Zubrowka and apple juice. . .
I’m almost 50, I don’t know what sippin spirits for tastes is lol. I’ve tried to slow down & “taste” but can’t get into it. I like smooth for obvious reasons & drink it fast to start the party🥳. Helps flow with more freedom & creative expression (word association/poetry comes way easier) & lots of love focus.
Crystal Head and Tito's are both very good but I was surprised to see Ciroc so low on the list as it is my personal favorite. Taste is subjective. This was a good list.
You rated cheatos #1, they don't even make all of their base spirit. Bottled in Texas, but sourced from mass production in Indiana. Do your research on who you recommend. Ketel one and Stoli i totally agree with especially on the taste to value equation.

You got Grey Goose where it belongs.....never saw VOX which is way high on any list..... Russian Standard is really good also.
Deep Eddy peach, lemon, or lime, all great, you gotta try em for around $15 a bottle.
Deep eddy is actually better than Tito's for significantly less. I can get a 1.75 of deep eddy's for $20. Tito's just keeps going up in price. They're both made in Texas, deep eddy's is such a slept on vodka.
Well I commented before watching,so I was pretty much spot on
I completely agree with Grey Goose being too expensive at the $60 dollar price point.... but two things
1) I find it for $40 for a HANDLE size at Total Wine now. Much better price,
2) It does not deserve the rampant hate it gets. It's a smooth Vodka.
It's not my favorite, but it's for sure in the rotation. Favorite is Stoli Elit!
Lies again? Vancouver Deal
"Russian Vodka" (Smirnoff) Is The Best! Merci.
Russian Standard should definitely be near the top of this list.
agree
Absolutely, Russian Standard is the only vodka I buy.
Cheers !!
I came to see if our favorite Luksusawa made this list, absolutely love this vodka. bummed it wasn't listed
I definitely love Chopin gluten free, potato vodka from Poland. I'm Mexican and i grew up with tequila and mezcal. I never going to change that. But Chopin is my other option for vodkas
Chopin is a great Vodka!
I actually don’t drink alcohol at all now (just a personal preference and value, not a religious or addiction related related decision) but appreciate videos about what others like!
you didn't put Russian Standard or Chopin on this list?
Russian Standard every time.
Chopin Potato Vodka is my go to vodka. What's not to like? It's from the birthplace of vodka, Poland.
What a terrible list. Where is Żubrówka? Where is Finlandia? Sobieski? Chopin? Wyborowa? Most of the vodkas in this video are not even popular.
Lmfao
Yep Tito's or Stoli are my go to!
Stoli and tonic wit a lemon the best smooth operator
Tito’s is a great sipping vodka!
No Żubrowska? The Third biggest selling vodka world-wide.
Where's Russian Standard?
No Beluga?
Beluga is super smooth, not expensive and easy to drink
Beluga is excellent
You guys HAVE to try Deep Eddy's. It is truly exceptional and their flavored varieties are clearly above the competition. Once you go Deep Eddy's, you won't go back.
Have to agree on Tito's at #1. Clean, perfect with club soda and lime.
Never been much of a “drinker”, so when a bartender suggested “Tito’s”, I thought, “Mexican vodka. Why not? They’ve done some terrific things with tequila.”
I bought a bottle for my dad to try. His comment was- “Jeff, I don’t know how to tell you this. There was a mixup at labor & delivery. You actually belong to a rich. We’ve been looking for your real parents since you were born.” (I think he considers Tito’s expensive)
Named after a man who stood up to Stalin
How about Svedka? Great stuff.
And it is reasonable priced.
@@BigJon410 May be hard to believe, but Jenkins is not a bad daily swill. Damn sight better than say, Zhenka! (I know, folks are now choking...)
As a bartender absolut is the go to, great vodka at a brilliant price and the flavours help mixology.
If you're looking for cheaper I always recommend Russian Standard no tricks no burn inoffensive and cheaper than almost anything else.
What about taaka or Popov? Lol
It's vodka. The idea is that it has no taste. I like Russian Standard, straight from the freezer. The next best thing is just Ever-clear 190 with ice.... No pretense at all.
My personal favourite is Smirnoff. It's also the most popular in my country. For a litre bottle, it's around £20 in my local shop. Not bad.
Svedka is a very high-quality reasonably priced vodka; I did a blind taste test which was easy because I’m actually blind and I couldn’t tell the difference between it and absolute vodka
If your blind how the hell did you type this?
@@haydenjones2788 I guess you never heard of accessibility on an iPhone; my phone reads text to me and I use dictation to type replies to nimrods like you! You’re not a very smart person, are you?
Good to know that the Crystal Head vokda I have waiting for me for next year isn't any bad vodka.
Russian standard is a great vodka at a great price should be top of the list. Greygoose is my favourite premium vodka.
Couldn't agree more about Russian Standard. It's the only vodka I buy.
Cheers !!
At its price Russian Standard is excellent, why is it not on this list ? Not available in the USA ? As a Brit, in the premium range, I'd mention Chase Vodka, distinctive flavour and made from potatoes.
Personally dislike Grey Goose intensely.
@@derekfancett8218 Yep,Russian Standard perpetually on offer it would seem at Sainsbury's.
Cheers !!
I like gray goose
@@johnpietros9439 l have never tried Grey Goose but I'll give it a go !!
My is the Smirnoff, I tried it so many ways & I always loved it 😍
Stoli is excellent; I think Russian Standard is better, though...
RS is excellent
+1
Potemkin
Russian Standard in my opinion is the best.
Cheers !!
Russki standart is the best for squatting gopniks
Smirnoff Blue, second best to Russian Standard....
Good list!
Tito’s rule! ❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾❤️
I am a fan of Belvedere Vodka. It is a bit pricey, but it is the best all purpose vodka for Straight, or mixed in drinks like Martinis or Gibson's. Shouldn't be wasted on a Vodka & Grapefruit. Smirnoff is fine for that.
I have my 3 S, Stoli, Skyy, Svedka, great Vodkas, great prices.
Skyy.
My favorite is SVEDKA !🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
@@lizkearsing325 Ketel is my favorite but Svedka is my second and what I usually drink because it's so cheap. It's extremely underrated.
News flash: ALL vodka sucks. Some just suck less.
If the best thing you can say about any vodka is that it is flavorless and is "smooth" , then you know you have a crap drink on your hands...
I thought this was supposed to be an article on vodka not fruit juice.
😂😂
🍻😂😂😂
Millennials koolaid list
@@brianjennings1624 I agree
My original go-to vodka was Eristoff, but because of some weird-ass legal reasons, this vodka from Georgia 🇬🇪 (the country, not the state) is impossible to find it in the States anymore. My current go-to? Reyka, straight out of Iceland 🇮🇸. And what a vodka! Amazing on the rocks!
Luksosowa is the best - especially when you consider price.
very true if you like potato vodka, tremendous value
My go to for my home bar is Smirnoff because of price but I do indulge in some local vodkas when I’m feeling like spending some extra money
I recently discovered Partisan. A Belarussian vodka of 50%. Absolutely great and affordable.
I agree Kirkland signature the best bank for the buck I have found.
Burnett's is fine for mixed drinks. Putting tonic into a boutique vodka is nuts.
Forgot about Finlandia 😭
Crystal Head is the smoothest vodka I've ever tried but too expensive for everyday use. In general if I'm having a mixed drink I'll use economy vodkas like Fleishmann's or Burnetts. If I'm making a vodka martini I'll use Ketel One, which is closely behind Crystal Head to my palate. And I agree about Grey Goose; beautiful bottle but harsh.
I like kettle much better than grey goose and it’s about 10$ less for a fifth
I'll just stick to Russian Standard as my go to. Then toss in the occasional Finlandia and Sobieski.
Damn, and sorry for the potty mouth word, but this youtube site is very, very good!
Thank God someone else feels like I do about Grey Goose ! It's overpriced swill IMO.
I'll happily stick with my Absolut .
Same here. The standard of vodkas, in both price and quality.
Oh my lord almost cried at the end learning about Tito’s dogs 😭
sobieski is my vodka of choice
It's better than Absolut or Tito's believe me. And it's $10.99/750ml, that's a steal.
Best bang for your buck in the world
Vodka is colorless, odorless, flavorless, neutral grain spirit. The only purpose is to enhance and not detract a mixer....As such anybody that pays more than the $10 Sobieski costs is either ignorant or showing off
it is nicer to you the next day than any other vodka I have consumed...it is a very good vodka for a great price
Since we're here, I will give my nod to Stoli and Tito's, however, I think that Iceberg Vodka out of Canada is a bit of a sleeper. Want something different? I was gifting Polish Zubrowka (bison grass vodka) for awhile after my brother visited there and the place he stayed liked "Refreshing Drink" of Zubrowka and apple juice. . .
Yea but can never find it anywhere at least here in California.
Stoli is my all time favorite!
all of these are grain try a real potato vodka the poles make one
We all have our difference. Grey Goose Martinis and Smirnoff for flavored cocktails, over here!
What about Reyka ? My favorite.
Burnetts is selling for $6 at the gas station near me. that makes it slightly cheaper than a gallon of gas.
I agree russian standard should have had a show here
You rated cheatos #1, they don't even make all of their base spirit. Bottled in Texas, but sourced from mass production in Indiana. Do your research on who you recommend. Ketel one and Stoli i totally agree with especially on the taste to value equation.
