I can remember to have seen such a Mazda RX-7 with these updated tail lights in this year. Looking much better than the narrow tail lights of the first series. But an RX-7 is really a super rare sight ... no matter what generation and series. The Mk2 has been a very popular car here in Germany when I got my driving license in the middle of the 90s. But these disappeared very much (hard to find someone to get it fixed properly even back then - so nowadays the situation is even worse).

Hi Sven - yes, super rare. I really like them. Apparently the rotary engine is a safer bet at this age because they had to strip out some aspects (I don't know the technical details) for emissions reasons later on which decreased the reliability which we all know about. Hope you're having a great weekend. Mike & Maia

The RX7 (all models) always found them interesting with nice styling. They deserved a better following. Elfords Engineering used to make a turbo conversion i recall.
