Crochet Granny Square Baby Sweater

- In this video I will teach you how to crochet this baby granny square sweater. It is easy and fun. The sweater is made using granny squares. If you can make a granny square you can make this sweater. Don't know how to make granny squares? No problem I have a video for that. Can't sew pieces together, again I have a video for that too.
This sweater is sized approximately for a 3-6 month old. Other sizes (these are estimates as each child is different). Newborn use a size F hook and weight 3 baby yarn. Sizes 6-12months. Switch to a size I hook. Sizes 12 - 24 months switch to a size J hook and medium weight yarn (weight 4). I will need to come up with another pattern for larger sizes. I will put that on my list as I would like to have one for up to 5 years old.

love this! just a tip, if you take a lighter to the end of your ribbon you can seal the edges to prevent it from fraying :)

Can I know what the measurements should be of the granny squares for the 12-24 months old? I use a 3.5 mm hook bcs it looks neater would that work too?
How old baby can wear it. Also please tell the yarns used in terms of grams please.. at different place we get yarns at different weight balls.
Also can I add more rows around edge to add buttons instead of ribbon
