Calamitas, The Brimstone Witch. Infamous for destroying two civilizations, on paralel to the other. However, none of her actions were her fault... The miserable magician was cursed by the vile and feared Yharim, the Jungle Tyrant. If someone was to fight the witch, a question must be asked: *Do you enjoy going through hell?*
I usually get too lazy making the arena so I just place a platform about 204 blocks wide (4 blocks for the altar, 100 on each side) and then put the 4 candles right beside the altar. the candles can still be in effect all the way until the edge of the arena, which is perfect for lazy people like me
Not only is this video extremely useful, but it also has a great song choice, especially at 20:19. “At the speed of light” really fits the theme, mainly because it’s known for being used in “bloodbath”, in geometry dash (a hell-themed level).
What's really interesting is that, while the Bullet Hell patterns are reliable and consistent, you can do interesting things by positioning yourself correctly. Move away from an attack direction to build up a 'wall' of blasts to teleport past, or move towards them to spread out the spawns and dodge manually.

I always was planning on going in-depth in showing the locations of the Brimstone Hearts, but I left it at just building the borders with a random block. This was absolutely everything I needed in terms of working up to a no-hit vs SCal. I've fought her multiple times, but there are moments where I choke, so thank you so much for going in-depth on each stage! Curious, Yharon has been causing quite a bit of trouble. Will there eventually be a guide that goes up for him? If you working on it, perfect, otherwise, I definitely think there's a few pointers with the bullet hell sequences he's got. (EDIT: Technically they aren't...new? There's new visuals, yes, but I may be wrong on that.)
I might do other endgame bosses later down the line. No plan at the moment though. Yharon definitely got quite a lot of rework overtime and is now a lot different than previous versions. PS. Yes I did the arena building myself

I really recommend using the Exo-Gamimg-Chair during bullet hell phases for the ultimate Touhou experience, Since the movement from the mount is SMOOTH and very usefull for doing them. If you havent defeated the Exo Mechs, i would recommend just not using mounts at all.

ik this is old but if you are using the tyranny's end then use regular musket balls. it converts the ammo into a bullet that makes a ton of extra little bullets shoot the target which ends up doing over double the dps. it doesnt convert god slayer slugs anymore
Pretty good, only concern is that the setups were taken right off the wiki Eldritch soul artifact's only benefit to a summoner is a single minion slot and minion knockback (yikes) Godly soul artifact has zero effect with saros' possession The only use case for eldritch soul is to squeeze out that one extra kindle staff summon, though you're better off just summoning 4 regular minions and using a damage accessory instead 22:19 i would like to inform you about our lord and savior relic of convergence
As a person who havent beat her yet but got her to 8% 3x. I can say that shes deffinitely easier than yharon. Shes the deffinition of a mage. She got reworked 2 weeks ago, instead of 4 brim monsters she spawns a vortex that drains your health if ur in it (ofc). The attacks are kinda same except brimstone gigablasts which got changed into being actually readable instead of rng. Yet im still trying to beat Calamity right now (i started calamity like a week ago or so). For weapons.. You should deffinitely be melee with a Burning Sky. That weapon is like its made for her and exo mechs. Legit melts off 1/4 of her hp if u have adrenaline. Even without adrenaline it does a massive dmg to her cuz when she doesnt spawn any entities or stuff and just fires blasts at u and gigablasts shes static so u can attack her 24/7 with burning sky which is like 30k dps. For hearts I built a platform directly under the heart closest to the bottom of the arena. So when she ends with bullet her u can go and slash them. For slashing hearts, I wouldnt use Burning sky cuz it does pretty bad dmg to them. I would suggest to use Murasama for the hearts cuz it clears them up in couple seconds. When vortex appears and is close to u and u have nowhere to go just tp over it with either Rod of Discord or Normality Relocator.

If y’all are doing melee in the newest update… you can kill exo mechs first and make the exoblade… arguably the best weapon in the game and it does 50k dps with my setup
10:33 imo Wrathwing is a weapon worth using along all SCAL fight. Stealth-striking with it becomes only better if you use dragon scales. This is too broken for post-Yharon, it really deserves to be exo/shadowspec-tier weapon
Maybe it’s just me, but back when I actually played Calamity, SCal always felt somewhat underwhelming in terms of difficulty. Yharon and Old Duke always felt waaay more challenging.
Precision based boss like SCal is technically gonna be easier because there's somewhat an unfailing strategy for her. Yharon OD however, are chaotic and hard to practice
@@MyraTerrariaOfficial You also have to consider the gear you get at their respective stages too. Auric-tier stuff means you put out way better DPS even relative to the bosses' health, and it also ensures you can pretty reliably survive by just spacing out the hits you take.
Would you say Exo-Mechs are easier or harder than Supreme Calamitas? I feel like they’d be harder, but most of the optimal weapons you mention here come from Exo-Mechs so I don’t know if it’s better to just keep fighting Supreme Calamitas or try out Exo-Mechs
I know that 1.3 Dog is incredibly aggressive in terms of charging from offscreen, while scal feels like a mostly fair fight that rewards positioning really well

This isn't related to the video but how do you craft the eye of desolation since on the wiki it says its crafted with 15 unholy cores and a suspicious looking eye but the thing is the eye isnt a material,please help

Exo is a lot more chaotic. I think Calamitas is way easier and much easier to manage

I always do exo mechs first to gain exo box for scal, makes the fight so much easier that it feels like cheating
