Great list! One that you missed but I'd put at pretty much the top of the list is Environmental Station Alpha - one of my favorite Metroid-likes period. Also, yay, someone else who played Rex Rocket, what a great little gem!! The same dev went on to make the Blossom Tales games which are great classic Zelda-likes.
Don't forget A Robot Named Fight! Another upcoming game I'm keeping an eye out for is Starlair which is described as Super Metroid crossed with Mario Maker.
