Maple Forest is an upcoming one I'm really excited for. Also keep making videos like these! They are so freaking good, I love discovering new indie games through a format like this.
Nice! You taught me about a few new games like Quest Master and Minishoot Adventures. I played through Nobody Saves the World recently and recommended it to a friend by telling him it's like if top-down Zelda took away the puzzles and was more like a humorous D&D session.
Thanks for the recommendations! I'm playing through Master Key rn and I own Hunt the Night, but some of the others I'm gonna add to the wishlist. Quest Master in particular sounds super fun to play with my friends, gonna have to keep a close eye on that one.
Love it! One recommendation is to put a link to where one can grab or wish list the game, it would definitely help the developers by taking away friction from us to find them :D
Feel like ignoring the better known ones like Tunic or CrossCode is still a disservice because if you haven't heard of those games they should be on the top of your list to play if you love classic Zelda.
I still haven’t had the chance to play Crosscode but man Tunic was one of the best games I have played in recent memory. Finally got to playing it 2 months ago and I could not put it down til I rolled credits. I still need to solve that final puzzle but even just realizing the start of it blew my mind, so masterfully done!

I'm glad you like them! I really like finding cool stuff and pointing them out.
I got A Link's to the Past for my 12th birthday, 30 years later it's still one of my favorite games even though I haven't played it in 20 years.
One of the greats for sure

Lenna's Inception is a really good seeded 2D zelda like
Been loving this series! Pipistrello was already on my list, but I didn't know about most of these other ones so thanks :)
Thanks so much, I think I discovered Pipistrello through one of your videos so I guess this is just the cycle at work lol.
@@CABROWN xD
Zelda is closer to a Metrovania than to RPGs.

Hunt the night looks cool. I’ll be checking it out!!! Great video!!
I backed Creature Keeper on KS some time ago because of its LoZ vibes. Should be coming out this year.
lenna's inception is also cool
These are some great suggestions! Will definitely be checking prodigal out!
Are these all exclusively available for PC and switch? Or can you get most of these on PS4 and Xbox too?
