I like the water bottle with the bottom storage as it comes in handy for going camping. Put your dish soap in the dispenser top and put a brillo pad in the bottom screw on compartment. Everything in one handy container
A quick tip for labels/stickers, take a hairdryer and heat the sticker for a couple of seconds. Then take the scrape tool or use your fingers and it should easily come off. Then I use goo gone for the left over residue/any part that didn't come off.
Wish I had this tip years ago! I actually herniated a disc in my neck attempting to remove labels slapped on top of labels on metal file cabinet drawers…. I wasn’t allowed to use a putty knife for fear of scratching the ugly old drawers, ugh.. goo gone barely worked.. so I rubbed til I broke into a sweat.. 6 drawers! all to change the drawers to make sense.. 😂
I have had no luck with plain water, not even hot water, nor with windex. Sometimes the hair dryer will take the label off with no sticky residue, and after I wash it with hot soapy water it’s ready to go. However, if there is a sticky residue, my go to is 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol, and that takes the sticky off very fast. The hair dryer is a must for me.
Woo-hoo!! I was already planning a trip to my dollar tree later today and I got a new notification from you. Watched it and then made a larger list from your wonderful inspiration. Keep your fingers eyes and toes crossed for me, because like another person said... it seems like the one nearest us never has half this stuff. Andrea, you're a GREAT start to my day!👏🔥🥰
One of the best things my best friend showed me while helping me move into my new house was.. If you turn on your flat top stove eye on low and sit your jar/ plate/ cup , anything with a label that is not plastic, once it is a little warm the label comes right off!!! Im sure a hairdryer works too. Try it out! Glue and all is gone!
There are also those black workshop clamps in the hardware section, with the moveable jaws. They come in all sizes from small to ENORMOUS, and they hold like hell. The cheapies do tend to break more easily than the better quality ones, but for most jobs they will do just fine.
Poo spray….even cheaper, in a 150ml spray bottle put 3-4 drops of ur choice of essential oil and shake the bejeebers out of it and place it wherever with a sun saying “before u sit, shake me well, spray in the toilet bowl, ta da! NO SMELL!”. Works and cheapest way to do it as of yet!!!!
A good vlog Andrea. Keith likes the back scratcher for getting stuff between the car seat and console. Love those clippers from the Dollar Store. The pump to blow up the balloons, Cool!!! We have a Dollar Tree Store next to Hallmark. Guess who is weak at Hallmark. When working for an HMO, I use to go to Hallmark after work or lunch and spend alot of time and money their. When I married, Keith put an end to that!! Like your vlogs, so uplifting and good ideas. Joan ❤❤❤ Keith
Don't waste valuable peanut butter! ANYthing oily (like oil!) will remove a label! Mineral oil, cooking oil, machine oil, baby oil, WD40, lard, bacon fat, butter... I usually peel away as much paper as I can (or soak it off) and then use the oil. It saves it having to get through the paper and then to the sticky.
Great stuff, although I feel like my stores never have half these things lol. I use the binder clips for my bags of snacks, cereal, freezer stuff. They're black with like stainless steel & u can fold them over to make it tight against your papers, I mean chips lol.
Very good ideas. I just love $tree. It takes a creative crafty person see other ways of using a product for something totally different. Getting my some plant clips. Thnx
I can't LIVE without binder clips in various sizes. They are even better to hold garbage bags in place than those clips because you can fold down the handles , thus making it possible to use them on a garbage can with a LID. Just clip them to the edges, fold down the wire handles and replace the lid. I also like to use those black workshop clamps, they are strong and also come in various sizes.
Pencil holder - MAKE UP BRUSHES OR WHEN PAINTING, THROW UR PAINT BRUSH IN AFTER UR 1/2 WAY THRU AFTER U WRAP WITH SARAN WRAP AND FREEZE IT UNTIL U USE IT AGAIN!!!
9:07 My friend has that bottle. He uses the bottom to hold individual sealed crystal lite powdered flavour packs (for tap water or 500ml water bottles). Fill bottle with water, rip open a flavour pack and add to water, shake well to mix, enjoy.
Even cheaper than the $1.25 Brillo spray, Dawn Power Wash is just 2oz dawn, 1oz 90% isopropyl alcohol and 13oz water in your Power Wash bottle. I use it in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. I can refill my power wash bottle 5 or 6 times for what Id spend on 1 bottle of power wash. I also put the alcohol and dawn with 3oz water in a refillable dish scrubbing brush in the bathroom for touch ups cleaning the sink and shower etc.
@Six it's not threaded like a normal lid, it's more like a catch that snaps in place, I wonder if yours is just extra tight. Mine doesn't feel like it would break if I gave it a little extra nudge to open it. How frustrating. I'm sorry.
@@SagaciousSix Try running it under hot water. I've removed tight snapped-on spouts from bottles this way; it softens them up enough to be able to pry them off.
To remove adhesive from just about anything, even clothing, try lemon essential oil. It works great and smells great and isn’t toxic. Hasn’t failed me yet:)
For the labels, just sit them in hot soapy water for a few minutes. If the candle is still under it however, do asyou have but flip the scapper over, it's more effective & less chance of breaking it. The "back scratcher" actually appears to be the head scratcher/massager.
I've got to get me one of those back scratchers. My old one has seen it's last days 😢. I've used it for years. So I guess I'll be heading to the Dollar Tree !!.. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I always appreciate you love ❤️😘
THE CRAFTERS SQUARE PLASTIC TUBE .... USE IT TO ROLL UP PAPER ART WORK OR POSTERS OR SHORT ROLLS OF WRAPPING PAPER OR TO KEEP ANYTHING ROLLABLE CREASE FREE AND DRY (NOT SUMERGED)
While you were putting things in the round pencil holder (which I own a few of) I happened to think, top and bottom of wrapping paper or vinyl roll storage
AH this was excellent thank you!! You are/this channel are what I call an "immediate subscribe" ha. 6:11- (retractable carry case) Good for vinyl rolls, transfer tape, partially used/ leftover wall transfers etc as well?? I wonder! I'm not sure how large this case is yet but that would be so nice tp keep them safe and storable, maybe!? Off to DT now so we shall seee! Good vibes, happy hacking & D.I.Y's from KC :)
@@AndreaJean Really!! Great, I'll pay your flight tickets. I broke my neck and nose in 2021 and had long covid since January 2020. The first floor is all ceramic tile. My boys and I worked hard on it, getting the grout clean, within weeks it was black again.
Great ideas, thanks. I looked online at Dollar Tree but they did not have that lovely treat holder. I thought it would be great for the air popcorn popper to catch the popped corn as it pops out of the shoot. That backscratcher looks much more useable than some I've used - they were so small and bent when I used it. Love the tablecloth hack! The design of that pencil holder is great, I love that it is adjustable. Thanks
I use wooden clothes pins, the ones with springs for resealing food items that are not resealable. Great hacks. I will be visiting my local Dollar Tree for hidden treasures...thank you. New subber too.
📍 I actually have a gripe about the wifi password sign... a few years ago we started having random cars occasionally parking in front of our house even across the street and they'd stay for quite a while. OMG 😲 💡 I turned of my TV first and then went and unplugged my wifi and went back to look and the RANDOM PARKED CAR was GONE! So I immediately changed my wifi password and TAH DAH no more weirdo skimmers !!!! Seriously, we had shared our wifi passwords with so many other's and I guess they 'passed it on' and on and on! Be careful Y'all 😇
I got that bottle with the cup in the bottom for my meds. Someone suggested to give them to my patients also and I didn’t do that because of boundaries but I thought it was a great idea.
I strongly recommend also getting one of those "grabbit things" for getting stuff down from high places. Also good for rescuing things fallen into tight spaces. They've saved my butt a few times, and they aren't expensive.
I love watching all your great ideas! You are so creative in your thinking… Hot water & dawn dish soap takes labels off and doesn’t have the chemical smell 👍🏻

Ok. You had me at using the tablecloth for a giant gift wrap!!! What? That's brilliant 👏 😀 👍 👌
Yasssss!! 🎉
Yes, excited to try this at 🎄
Great ideas! Love the pencil case. You could store spaghetti, fettucine, or angel hair pasta in them. I am buying the balloon pump!
Yasssss!!
RUB ON GLUE GONE THEN USE HAIR DRYER - NO SCRAPING
or crochet hooks and knitting needles
A dab of oil helps remove labels with very little scrubbing.
Fleece backed table cloths hung on the wall are perfect for a design wall for quilting

Yes this is so much easier and less mess!
The hair d yet works great! I also use isopropyl alcohol if I don’t have goo gone! It only takes about a minute.
@JLuvasm Thanks for the hair dryer idea. I have had good luck using Windex on the sticker. In a pinch plain water works best if left on long enough. 🔆

Great ideas for the plant clips but they will not hold up with repeated use. I love them for plants-clip on and leave in place, that works.

Thanks so much Mercedes! ❤️
Hi Andrea! How are you and your family. I hope all is well. I really really like your videos! Very informative. THANK YOU! ❤ 😊
Thank you! You too!
Clothes pins are the best way to close a bag.
Great for knitting needles what you stored skewers in.
For sticky labels all I do is use a finger full of peanut butter and wipe it on the label. Go back in a couple hours. The label comes right off.
