I am new to cleaning. I am unemployed and had to let my lovely cleaning lady go after 15 years. So I am watching a ton of cleaning videos. I love that you are so grateful when you say 'take care of what you have'. We all need to appreciate what we have. I went to dollar tree today got all the broom attachments but not the Rubber Broom ....but will be sure get that in my next trip. I am also new to Dollar Tree ...and OMG .....I did not discover that store until I lost my job. That is my new favorite store!!! Thank you for your videos!

I really appreciate you pointing out the lack of a strong chemical smell, idk why but I’ve become super sensitive to artificial fragrance and strong chemical smells, even the trash bags with Fabreeze imbedded in them cause me to wheeze. I will be trying the oven cleaner, and the fabric softener to clean the cabinets, I’ve lived in my house 3.5 years and haven’t really washed them down much, just a quick wipe. I’m bubbling over with the idea of checking for the same product in different sizes, never thought to investigate!

There is also a brush they sell that I use for the toilets. It’s very stiff and gets under the rim for a good scrubbing!!!

I love the microfiber mop heads, and the LA's Totally Awesome Concentrated Cleaner. It too comes in a few different sizes and containers. The larger bottle comes with a label that gives you a well defined chart of how to dilute it for different jobs. Honestly, I just stick a sprayer in it and use it full strength. Better Homes and Gardens recommends it from Amazon at a much higher price. Instead of a sponge or dish rag, I repurpose the mesh bags that avocados ( and other produce) come in. They get everything so clean, and they're FREE! I just pop them in a little lingerie bag and wash them with my dish towels, etc. in the washer. No drying necessary. I am definitely going to take your advice and try the rubber broom. I live in a tiny home with 2 cats and 2 dogs, and that sounds like a tool I can really use. I'm always up to my eyeballs in pet fur! I really enjoyed your video! 🌸

Hi Sarah, great video! You’re inspiring me to clean this house lol. I have to recommend another DT cleaning tool, it’s their blue hand held dustpan brush (not sure the actual name). I use it wet & with cleaner for so many uses, the bristles are long & flexible, so it really gets into places. I trimmed a section of the bristles near the handle for stiffer scrubbing, but overall I ❤it and use it a lot. TY for posting this & TY for keeping your genuine personality & not some overdone RUclips persona. You are perfect already❤

Your channel is so helpful and you do such a good job, explaining ways to use products. One suggestion, would be to put olive oil, coconut oil or Vaseline and wear gloves, even the thin ones. Hands need care to stay soft and wrinkle free. Especially when using strong products in the oven. Be Blessed!!!

My favorite cleaning hack is to use Dollar Tree toothpaste to clean my sterling silver jewelry! Gently rub a dab of the toothpaste onto the tarnished surface with your wet fingers. You’ll see the tarnish dissolve into the foam. Rinse thoroughly and dry gently with a clean cloth. Cleans and polishes!!

Plain alcohol is safer for your health. Some RUclipsrs just use a damp microfiber cloth to clean glass and mirrors, and another microfiber to dry, with great results. I haven’t tried it yet.

I love when my cleaning products create bubbles. It just makes cleaning more enjoyable for me. Thanks for the carbona recommendation. I Love getting the windex multi surface refill there. It's more expensive to get at walmart. It's a great staple for glass or surface cleaning because it disinfects as well

I’ve been buying my cleaning products from $ general for 20 plus years. Fabuloso was once sold there. Awesome ( the brand) for years. I used to get my windex with vinegar too, before it became popular.

Love your down to earth Sara! I am a believer in keeping my old ass appliances clean. I'm staying in my mom's house now but I keep it as good as I can. Whenever I did have my own apartments I was the one who would clean them old ass apartments better than what I found them and same with my cars.... I may have a beater but it's going to be clean.

Sarah, I’m a real one, scrubbing bubbles I use to buy until the price went up to 8 dollars!!! Insane. One tip I thought I would tell you is after you clean your washer which I think is fantastic, however I use the laundry mat now since I’m in a senior joint, when I did have my home I would run the washer after putting white vinegar and wiping it all down I’d run the washer through a cycle with extra hot water. That gives it a nice good rents and takes out all the yucky stuff inside the washer. I miss my home 😢… great video!

I'm in a senior joint as well,I used to live in a rented house n had a yard n my little hanging garden.now I have to buy things I used to grow.😔 I hate using the laundry room,I always have to clean the machines before using them as well.I really don't know what some people put in the machines to get them so nasty.
