I use straws for my necklaces. I string the neck through the straw, so no knots or breaking of the fine chains. I put them in my plastic gallon bag so they do not tarnish, I add a small piece of carbon paper into the bag, so they do not tarnish. Lay them flat in the drawer.

My mom forgot we had 2 egg carriers which we've had FOREVER. About a month ago, I recommended the same idea to her about using them to store hard boiled eggs. Glad I'm not the only who sees this potential.

When I want to put out my candles I just set their lids back on top. No smoke 👍🏻
You don’t have to put the candle snuffer all the way down on the surface of the wax. That gets it all gummed up with melted wax. Just lower the snuffer gradually over the flame until the flame is extinguished.
Oh, check out the angled "seniors" nail clippers, even easier for clipping candles. ☺️💞
I rub my hands on my stainless steel sink. Works great on odors, no added clutter and free!
One good hack I use a wide mouth glass mason sterilized and dry, and fill up with fresh strawberries or grapes. Then I put a crush dry coffee filter on top put the lid and I put my wide mouth Foodsaver jar sealer adapter and use the moist option and vacuum seal it. Then remove the jar sealer adapter and put the white plastic cap lid and refrigerate it. It keeps fresh for weeks! I also store cut up seasoned cut up tofu squares in the jar and vacuum it too.
Xmas lights in cake storage = freaking genius!!! I always wondered what to do with those great-sized containers. I just learned you have a blog and I’m so excited!!!

For the onion smell on hands...if u have a stainless kitchen sink....u don't need any extra items a soap or a spoon. Just rub your hands on the sink! I learned the stainless hack years ago. I love hacks like that!!! Rub ur sink people, just rub it!
I have stacks of those silver trays around the house to put little things on that have to go to other places. Unlike a basket, I see the stuff on the tray and put the items away much faster than I would if they were in a basket.
I am team anything-dessert-made-by-someone-else! Pie, cake, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, ice cream --- it's all too good! Gotta watch the sweet tooth, ya know!

I would only do leaves pets can't get at and use EO that aren't a hazard for them. But I hear you, Mrs.Whiskers means we can't have just any plant on the shelf.

Great idea with the over the door hanging rack, I was going to buy something on Amazon to air dry some of my dresses, but what you showed will work perfectly. I hate to run the dryer when it gets so hot here in SoCal in the summer.

I like the sheet grippers made with metal clamps. They hold the sheet corners better than the plastic ones. I found them at Walmart. Also , I’m so glad to hear you’re keeping plants and kids alive. It can be tricky. 😊

I think the egg cartons that my eggs come in work very well. I don’t need to spend money on containers for that.
There’s a life hack for faster drawing of delicate items hang them in your bathroom and turn on the bathroom fan that will suck the moisture out of the items and they dry

You already had a stainless sink, so there's no need for the spoons. I used that trick 30 years ago when I worked fast food. Anytime I had to chop onions, I would rub my hands on the sink.

I use slow cooker- at night before bedtime to cook hard boiled eggs ! Turn on manual for 2 (two) minutes, make sure steam escape is closed. Do Not Open until next morning! Eggs will continue to cook perfectly, still be warm for eating! To remove egg shell - roll eggs on counter top with slight hand pressure. The egg shell comes right off easily!!! Store in refrigerator.
