I can't believe all the negativity here. I mean sure the mood he played the song in and the key change totally don't fit the song, but he played well and sang well.
I think it sound amazingly creepy. The song is about insanity (to me) and was originally hard core and evil, but this guy made it sound happy like some Alfred Hitchcock type shit. Good job! :)

I love how this cover takes Monster and totally re-imagines the style. It's like the opposite of Punk Goes Pop.

I like this quite a bit. I never thought that Monster could be turned into a country song but you pulled it off nicely. Don't listen to anybody who says you suck because you really dont. You added your own little twist with some of the lyrics "He'll freaking tear me out" pretty cool. Great job!

I love the Song from Skillet and saw the downvotes on this video, but I decided to watch it anyways. Thank god! That's a beautiful cover. I like that you're singing the song your own way. That makes it amazing. I could listen to it all day. Those who downvote the video, cause it's not goddamn exactly like the original (which would be boring as hell, 'cause you're just copy+paste what someone did before) just don't appreciate an awesome singer, who's interpreting a song it's own way. Keep doing what you are doing. You are wonderful.

if i had never heard skillet before i would never know what it was suppose to sound like but this cover realy isn't that bad. the singing is actually pretty good.

Luzy M. i disagree, it sounds good on acoustic, it's just he didn't plan on the correct cord's and correct tune, which monster is recorded in C# while this isn't, but i agree with the "sing angry"

@falconiscool21 I get that, clearly your missing the idea for Acoustic Sunday. Look through any of acoustic covers, none of them sound the same as the original. If every cover sounded the same as the original and no one put any artistic expression into it, this world would be a boring place.
