I love Alien and I believe that majority will type it as N1(sci fi horror). For me? David Cronenberg's "The Fly". People in general hate Alien vs Predator movies but I like them. The one that took place in Antarctica was awesome to me (I love Antarctica). Predators (2010) is the one that I personally had the most fun (cast has top level actors and everything they do and say feels real and genuine). I also LOVE Prometheus - which caused some of my "friends" made fun of me back then 🙂
45 years later, its crazy how well the eeriness and the vibes age in Alien. No doubt one of my favorite horror movies of all time. Great review man!

Although I enjoy Aliens more than Alien, I like the atmosphere and feeling of dread/fear Alien had. Both are incredible films

One of my favs as well, although the effects are starting to appear dated, but not as dated as his other film the Original Balde Runner
You think it looks dated? Seriously? Reckon it's WAY better than all the cartoonish, c-g rubbish, we get nowadays.
@@lenlooksback7981 I may have watched Alien and the Original Blade Runner so many times that yes some of the practical effects seem a bit uninspiring.
