I will be thinking of you and your son tomorrow in my prayers. Lovely video as always. I made the storm sweater and loved every minute of it. I hope you will enjoy it as well. Please take care of yourself. ❤
The blue Stockholm Slipover is really lovely in that blue. I had to laugh at your plans for future knits. I am still busy with a colourwork cowl. I am busy going out a lot don't have much time to knit someday's. The Cami No 9 has be pulled down but it will fit much better. The Early Bloomer Sweater is looking good and it won't be long before it is finished. The Storm Sweater is a new knit and I like the colour. Take care and I hope you are over the snaffkes ❤😅
Love your new slipover! Thank you for mentioning the ability to have folders for saved Instagram posts … I didn’t know that and they either end up in a jumble or I take screenshots which clutter my photos and I lose them.
I totally agree with you about the single V stitch orientation, Tash. It can make a world of difference! Love your vest, it looks beautifully drapey. Thanks for another terrific episode. ❤️🧶😃
Great projects! I really like Petiteknit patterns..they are so classic and won’t go out of style right away! Sending love and prayers to you and your son. I hope you both have speedy recoveries! ❤❤🙏🙏
I really love your "from the vault" series, especially with the info on how the garment worked for you. Please keep that up! I've sort of noticed, at least in this episode, that you often seem to knit a garment using the colors shown in the designers version. That seems so limiting. I'd love to see you branch out more.
Your finished pullover looks great. Hope you feel better soon. I love that new red yarn you have that’s amazing colour. I also like the colour that you will do your new sweater in, that’s nice too. I often save all kinds of recipes and never go back to them but then I never know what to make. lol !
I just put that Petite Knit pattern in my favourites lol. I also just started a slouch hat practicing my continental knitting. OMG it’s a struggle right now but I’m hopeful of it getting better. I really want to do some colour work
got interrupted...loving the oolong tank, although I would have the same issue with the lace in the front, also I personally think the ribbing on the sleeves etc, detracts from the delicate design, and that it would look better with a different finishing...really loving the Renée cardigan!! so many patterns so much yarn..only two arms and never enough time...I wish I was as prolific and experienced as you 🌷🌷🌷 I am sooo slow...and still so much learning..
Thanks so much Barbara. I think no matter how fast Iknit or how much time I have t knit, i always want to make more progress as it is all in my head and my head can move a lot faster than my hands. :)
Tash, greetings from Taiwan where we are visiting our middle son and his family. Thank you once again for a lovely podcast, especially given how poorly you are feeling. Worked on my Stockholm Slipover while watching! Feel better soon. All the best.
Thanks. Great video per usual. I may be in Australia in November. Would love to drop into a class at Skein Sisters but not sure I'll make it to Sydney. Hopefully there are some good shops in Adelaide and Canberra. I try to buy a skein wherever I visit.
Thanks Tash. Lovely makes and plans. I can only cope with 2 projects on the go at any one time but loads in my head that I’d love to tackle 😂😂 Hope you’re feeling better in a few days. Honey and lemon toddies might help!! 🙋🏼🏴
Hi Tash, thanks from your hint reversing the band I’m just doing it now and your right the wrong side looks neater. Hope that makes sense. I’m about to cast off do you do it wrong side or right side? I really enjoy your blog have to have pen and paper for every blog. I have recently gone back to knitting after 10 years! ! Things sure have changed. I live in Auckland so good to have the seasons the right way round. Hope your feeling better soon Best wishes Merilyn
Hi Tash, the slipover looks so good and love the pants. Your friend is very cool but I know what you mean about weight. Everything is so good as always 💕 love watching all the wips, your cami9 straps will cinch in a lot, so hard mid stage to know how it will end. Thanks for sharing, feel better, Karen 💪🏻🥰
Thank you so much Karen 🤗. I might do the neckline double knitting for Cami #9 before i rip back the body. It may give me confidence to keep knitting and not rip back. Thinking, thinking... x
That's what I'd do, path of least resistance. Your needles are going to be small!! I used 2mm and it felt like toothpicks. Have fun, I didn't enjoy that part but the sewing down was exciting (make sure it's loose enough but not too loose, it's a Goldilocks thing) and the finished item was so motivating. Love your colour and I'm going to make more in KFO merino, I know I'll wear this style summer and winter. I only had 3" chaigoo shorties so I'll get some longer tips I can hang on to with more comfort and then it will be fun again.. x@@mostlyknitting
Sorry you are not feeling well Tash, please take care of yourself 🌷I am so happy when one of your podcasts appear and have to wait till a chill time to watch them...love your slipover! and the fo is lovely, you make me laugh whenever you desciber the imaginary person knitpicking your knitting mishaps! 😂 as for the way to wear it, you could come up maybe with some closure to keep it warmer, but the first thing I thought is 1. to find a top that has the exact same neckline as the cardigan, so the top gets hidden under it, and you only see it where it opens at the button, 2. to then add a removable collar, or scarf, maybe in a similar color? in a style that adds to it without being too busy to detract from the design of the cardigan which is truly lovely. something really essential, maybe inserting some of the same pattern of the yoke? in the same/similar yarn? just brain storming. I knit a cardigan for my mother by Heidi Kirrmaier and it came out impeccable, only maybe a kittle thing I would modify about the drape in front, I found her pattern well written and interesting because it was written in a totally different way then most patterns. I do not have your experience in knitting but it was completely different, and it did turn out well, I do have other patterns of her that I have yet to knit. 🌷
Thanks so much for your suggestions Barbara. A well-chosen top underneath is important and I like the idea of something knitted around the neck. I have more of this colour yarn in a 4ply so that could work. :)
Hi Anne-Maree. I actually purchased directly from Purl Soho. I waited until there was a 20% off the yarn I wanted and then just paid for the shipping to Australia. It wasnt outrageous, especially given I bought when there was a discount.
Love the Stockholm vest, it’s lovely
and the colour is gorgeous.
Your colourwork is so effective in the pinks and I like what you did at the neck. ❤
Thank you so much Carol. x
I will be thinking of you and your son tomorrow in my prayers. Lovely video as always. I made the storm sweater and loved every minute of it. I hope you will enjoy it as well. Please take care of yourself. ❤
Thank you so much Maryann. It sounds like the Storm sweater is a fun knit. I am looking forward to making it. x

Looking forward for new tutorial!!! Thank you Tash!!!! Have a nice weekend and rest a bit to get well 😊see you next week!!!

Love your new slipover! Thank you for mentioning the ability to have folders for saved Instagram posts … I didn’t know that and they either end up in a jumble or I take screenshots which clutter my photos and I lose them.
You're welcome. I did the same until i discovered the saved folders. :)

Thanks so much. That is an interesting thought and I hadnt really thought about it. Good point. I will definitely give that some consideration. :)
Feel better soon! Sending wishes for a flawless procedure and swift recovery for your son as well! ❤

Thanks so much Sharon. Glad i am not the only one who is in the same boat with what meal to make, despite all the "inspiration". ;)
Hope you feel better soon. Thanks for the video. The Stockholm slipover looks great. Prayers for a successful surgery for your son.
Thanks so much Denise. x

Hope your continental knitting is getting easier. :)
Hope you’re feeling better really soon.
Blessings Gail.

Thanks so much Merilyn. For binding off, if you are doing it in pattern, you can do it from either side. :)

You could wear the cardigan with a turtleneck underneath of it. 🤔
That's true Patricia. I dont even think i have any turtlenecks though...

Sorry you feel poorly take care of yourself. Just received yarn from purl soho. Ordered 3 skein of blue and 3 of brown. I got 4 of each!
Score! Thanks Micheline. In bed now with tea and knitting.
Hi Tash
Where do you purchase your Purl Soho yarn from here in Australia?
Hope your son's procedure went well and you are both on the mend.

For your cold try honey made by bees in your area. I don't like medicine and it works for me. 1 tblsp. a day.
Thanks Joyce. I love honey so i am down with this idea.
Love Slipovers🩶
They are a bit of a new thing for me but I am really enjoying them. :)
