In 2018, we buried my Dad in Arlington. Soon after, my cousin died in Afganistan. My Dad and my cousin ended up being buried directly across the road from one another. May all buried there rest in peace.

Arlington National Cemetery is a deeply moving place on par with the Canadian War Memorial at Vimy Ridge in France. France recognizes that the Vimy Ridge Memorial is Canadian soil in France. Each November 11th Canadians remember both Canadians and Americans who made such great sacrifices representing our magnificent continent. May we always be brothers and sisters.
