Love this speed run. The runners skill and the passion/knowledge from the couch made this a great experience. Great work - Summer GDQ is the best time of the year
Commentary absolutely killed it on this run. You can tell the whole show is well-rehearsed. Also commendable how much energy they had for a run at midnight. Ended up playing these games in lieu of the money I owed Protal. 10/10 games, he got scammed
the talos principle 2 is such an excellent game, i feel like the sequel didn't get as much love as it deserved to! thank you to the runner and couch for an excellent speedrun, highly recommend running this casually for anyone who loved the first game or just loves puzzle games!
Loved the run and the commentary! Interesting to see speedruns evolving. Stuff like navigating through a Megastructure part (esp. over tetro-bridges) practically blind with your screen covered by the terminal gives me anxiety lol. I'm curious, what's the most essential stuff that was fixed in later versions of the game that you are using this particular one?
i don't really know what a speedrun makes sense in a game like Talos 2..... I love this game and the beauty is in the puzzles and exploring the world........ Greetz
The only levels that comes to mind where it's impossible to come back w/o a bridge is the one with the exploded lab / gear shaped / tower in the middle of a pit
The "stucco warp" works in every map, it's just a failsafe that makes sure that if the player is stuck (i.e. attempts moves the X and Y axis without actually moving) it warps the player to their most recent checkpoint. The anti-stuck tower warp thing works in every level with a tower / connecting bridge. It's for on the off chance that the player gets across the bridge without completing it, they can still get back safely without being softlocked.
This was SO much fun to couch for - great job Pr0tal!

The runner is so incredibly skilled and the couch crew was on fire, thank you all for a great show!

I love the energy of the backseat boys. Makes the run more enjoyable to watch (and understandable about what the heck is happening on screen. lol).
I never would have imagined a Talos 2 speedrun could be so technical. Great job on the run!
The energy of the couch for this is so much fun and truly makes the run imo :>
really fun energy from the couch and pr0tal hits so many sick strats like it's nobody's business
golf speedruns represent

Which level does the anti-stuck prevention feature exist for, and why?

Half Life 3 confirmed
I absolutely need to know why qumping is called qumping
Because some runners remap photomode to the Q key.
