Great batrep. The long narrow board scenario is always a tough row to hoe in TY. Semi-tank hordes need wide boards. Smoke is absolutely mandatory to advance. But the British had good rolls and the East Germans had bad rolls..
Uh oh... Josh came to a lot of conclusions about how to beat British with his East Germans in this game. I'd hate to be the next British player to come up against him and his artillery affinity...!
Awesome game again and shows the doctrine of the British Army of the Rhine to a tee, defend, take the hits, hit hard and then consider a counter attack.
@@Exocet235 Repeat bombardment is not the same as Brutal weapon, and that is what they said caused saves to be rerolled - also, it was not a repeated bombardment

Leclerc MBT entered Service in 1992, but were tested throughout the 80s The Russians will probably get T90 as it was in service in 1991 as a cheaper alternative to T80
Josh what witch did you anger to get your dice cursed so bad? I do like this game the more i see it. I was considering starting it a bit going with the USA. not just because of merica F yeah! but they can also field A-10s. Even if they were overpriced garbage i would field them in every game.
At 34 min. for the East German, you claimed to be on both objectives - one held by two T-72M and the 2nd by BMP-1 Transports. This is incorrect. Although objectives won't activate until turn 6, you are only on one objective at the edge of the table with the two T-72M. The empty attached BMP-1 transports cannot capture objective since you dismounted all your troops and moved into a building. However, transport teams loaded with troops can capture objective.

at 29:12, why did you apply Brutal to artillery bombardment effects? Shouldn't Brutal be used only for direct fire?

I love team yankee but i hate the tank parks[ thats why i play on a much bigger table. thanks guys good match.
WE have a house rule, that tanks must be 1" apart from one another or they count as failed a terrain check
