Feel free to stop at 1:53 and read the instructions, which if you bought the Pollard latch it should be included...this is not rocket science, but I understand that everybody is not as handy as I am ,and regardless of all of my experience I appreciate it when a manufacturer includes simple instructions. 3m chose to do it his way rather than follow instructions and I don't know why😅

I pried mine out with a flathead screwdriver. There is a plastic retainer at the top and bottom of the unit and i just worked it back and forth(or up and down) prying it until it popped out of the latch side. That said, the issue i was having stopped once the unit was removed so im going to oil it up and reinstall the original unit. Will like post a video next week.
