I’m so glad this version of the show is getting uploaded and found online, this was the version I watched in middle school at this theatre during this run so this group will always have a special place in my heart (Kholby was even kind enough to answer some post show questions for me he was so sweet) and this is my definitive version of the opening with the really haunting vocals, I’m so glad the show has evolved and progressed and become this cult darling and I’m glad more people know of its existence!
I hope someday someone uploads a full version of a different performance of this song, because this one is lackluster at best in comparison to the other opening performances, but I’m still very grateful that people like you took the time to make sure it is fully available.
This song is just not as upbeat as the other openings. There is currently two full recordings of Uranium Suite/Tragic Fact on the internet and this is the one with more enthusiasm

Tragic fact and Uranium Suit were never my favorite, I do prefer Fall Fair Suit, but I can give credit where it’s due! Tragic Fact is a really nice song and I do love a lot of the lines in it!

This was an earlier version of the musical, and it wasn't decided yet that Ricky was mute. So he's able to talk in this version. (and some of the other early versions as well!)
This was the 2013 run before they decided that Ricky would have crutches, I’m glad they made the change, made Ricky a far more interesting character he was pretty flat in this version
