Gus Halper is just... such a good Mischa. The ideal, honestly. He showed up, gave everything, sounded and looked INCREDIBLE, and made me want to play the character more than anything in this entire world. Genuinely upset that there isn't a spotify version with him.

Nah, he didn't want the kid. He only fantasized about giving birth for the drama. Hence why he sold the baby. And you see him cringe after the baby says 'mama'
See, there are two high note groups in this show that impress me the most. And they are so different. Emily Room’s notes are effortless and light while Kholbe Wardell’s are fierce and wild. Both blow me away. Every. Single. Time. Not to discredit Lillian Castillo. Those low alto notes were ✨EVERYTHING✨
What about Ocean's "Down"? She didn't use falsetto nor head voice so it's not as high as the others but it's still quite high.

I think they cut it bc gy***s is a slur for romani people and it adds to problematic stereotypes but i think they sould have just cut the word or changed it

Gus and Kholby are so perfect as Noel and Mischa. Like they’re just giving me those badass vibes of a couple judging you from across the room (maybe you’re just Ocean).
Like then Ocean comes as says “you both sucked at math” have u seen both of their faces? And Gus’s eyebrows…the most expressive ones after Noel Fisher as Mickey Milkovich in shameless.
As Ukrainian I say that Gus is my fav Mischa and the most “authentic” one (his Talia version is very close to correct pronunciation hehe)

yes i think she has hip dysplasia :) hence the reason she can rotate her foot in a full 180 i believe

No, this was when Taylor Louderman (Regina George) was part of the cast. She parted ways, due to differences (Idk what it was exactly). That when Tiffany joined the cast.

Edit: its concerning that no one in this comment section knows how this part in the song is racist. So if you dont know, g**** is a slur. Its a slur thats been used against Romani people and people of Roma who are an ethnic group in India, who have been marginalized and enslaved by many european countries. In this section of the song the racist sterotype of Romani people being kidnappers or buying children is used, which has been a sterotype that has been used as an accuse for theyre oppression. If you want to know more about Romani people florida.floridian is a really good and informative tiktok and youtube channel. With that beings said its okay to still like rtc and im not saying you shouldn't. I absolutely love this musical, but you should always critique any problematic elements in the art you love.
yes the updated version does remove this scene for good reason, thank you for giving a history on the Romani people. rtc parodied their stereotypes and people need to be educated that this behavior can be offensive

I was just worried about the people in this comment section I didn't see anyone pointing it out and a few poeple even praising it so I thought I would. it's a saddening thing to see them use this sterotype but I'm very happy it was removed. I'd even argue the show could still be improved on, specifically Ricky's disability representation. Thank you for your kind reply btw:]

You dont have to feel bad about not knowing though it's a thing that not a lot of people aren't aware of.I actually found out recently that it's not used against only Romani people too but like other people in and near India that the British confused as Romani people. If you want more info about all of this though the youtuber I recommended in my first comment is really good:]
They also cut an ableist song before the USA version, called Play to Win (Ocean's solo prior to WTWN was made), included the word cr****. so not surprised they were throwing around the G slur as late as 2016.
