Mod creator here, thanks for playing my randomizer and glad you had alot of fun playing it, I quite enjoyed watching, I laughed so many times throughout XD, one of my favourite parts was with the Kulu at the end XD
With the few odd things you encountered with the randomizer, the traces are a bit odd because of how they are accessed from the sobj files and how I edit them, I would need to go through and find a way to edit those parts procedurally to be accurate to the randomized monster, but them being random traces is kinda fitting for a randomizer.
The barroth cutscene why they were combined with the rathian was because that barroth isn't like a regular monster, its only a cutscene one, with cutscenes the monster you hunt will usually already be spawned out of bounds and get teleported over to do the cutscene. The end of the cutscene the barroth disappears and the real monster is the one left. The barroth cutscene seems to be the only one that spawns a fake monster for some reason.
Certain monsters not appearing in the cutscenes can just happen with certain monsters, guessing its just their rigs are too different or something (I was kinda surprised some monsters even work in other monsters cutscenes just by changing a small part of one file).
The paolumu came out of the barroth in the cutscene because their cutscene file didn't get overwritten by the nativePC files, so if there happens to be a paolumu randomized into that quest that can happen.
The deviljho you saw out of bounds I assume was just their default spawn location before getting called into a cutscene.
There is some issues with iceborne, like more cutscenes not showing the randomized monsters, and the monsters not wanting to go to different areas in the map, I kinda have no idea why that happens, I think they just changed how certain things are done a bit in iceborne.

we both absolutely love the mod!! That makes a lot of sense to why those instances happened with the monsters you mentioned xD It was still a blast either way!
We would love to do an ice borne version of it at some point, there are just a few instances where the monsters don't really take damage when getting into the expansion (unless i downloaded it wrong then that's on me D:)
Regardless we all absolutely love the mod and we are really excited to do it again xD

Oh, thats kinda odd that some of them aren't taking any damage, I've had that happen before with a few monsters but it seems kinda random. When I had it happen they would stand still and won't react or take any damage when hitting them. I called the glitch the cutscene mode glitch, I think whats happening is they are waiting to be called into a cutscene but there isn't one so they just get stuck in that state. The way to fix I found is the delete the .fsm file for that monster or folder for that quest, the fsm files are for the cutscenes.
Iceborne is just kinda a bit odd to mod some things.

@@fauxstard57 the host can create the mod but then needs to send the files to other people that are joining! Just place the new files where you placed them
How do you just kind of do a 180 in the air while doing the helmbreaker on Longsword? I've been trying to do that and it just won't ;-;
You can move around a bit in the air while you are slashing down!
