Very nice if you have the equipment and a shop to do it in. I've built chassis on folding sawhorses that I cut each piece with a cut off wheel. Trick my dad, who was a welder/fabricator, taught me is to tape long fluorescent light tubes to the frame Very tightly. If heat from welds starts to pull,it will Crack the tube,so move on to the other side. Never has failed me, either building motorcycle or car frames.

I either thinking of boxing in my original frame or going with a new foundation. Any advice?

You should not be able to call it a model A frame when it is newly made it’s a copy of the original

This really looks more like the '32 frame style... but I can understand why they do it. Mine is '30 "A"
