Building one of our 5-12 Model A frames. We also build Model T frames, and frames for 1932 and later pickups.
Channeling a 1932 Ford 5 window coupe
Просмотров 31 тыс.4 года назад
This is a reproduction body from United Pacific that we channeled over one of our 5-12 chassis. We go through the process of building and installing one of our sub floors. When channeling a Model A or 32, our sub floors help customers locate and mount their bodies to our frames, and give a structure to attach the floor to.
Custom mandrel bent frame rails!
Просмотров 20 тыс.4 года назад
Mandrel bending some custom frame rails for a customer! This is 2x4x.120 rectangular tubing being bent, and we can also bend 2x3x.120. Mandrel tube benders allow us to bend the tubing without it wrinkling or kinking. It's great for back halfs, full length rails, rear frame caps, crossmembers, etc. This is what we use to bend our Model A & Model T hot rod frames as well. If you are interested in...
This is exactly the way I want to do mine. I'm am so glad I found this video. New sub!
I need to get a frame for my 47 Ford pickup.

Great work. I'm so glad to see these cars being built with a traditional style but with much better engineering. Long live the Model A!

Great build Awesome content Love all the hard work
You just solved a ton of issues for me. Will this work with the stock model A frame
Can you make bends 90 degrees off of the bends shown here? I have a 1995 Toyota T-100 and the front frame rails are closer than the rear and I'm looking for a way to replace the whole frame instead of patching all the rust.
Cool!
Best Model-A chassis I've seen. That machine is surgical!
The body looks like a new reproduction body. Is that what's in the video and if so, where can they be found?
Wow! I'm seeing this December 2022! I welded a frame for my 46 Ford Panel truck, with a Lincoln Mk8 suspension. Wish Ida known this could be done one off like this!
Very nice if you have the equipment and a shop to do it in. I've built chassis on folding sawhorses that I cut each piece with a cut off wheel. Trick my dad, who was a welder/fabricator, taught me is to tape long fluorescent light tubes to the frame Very tightly. If heat from welds starts to pull,it will Crack the tube,so move on to the other side. Never has failed me, either building motorcycle or car frames.
Where are you located
What is ruff estimate for a set made for c10 67 to 72 that can lay frame on air
Impressive engineering and execution...great job!
Awesome Idea and well done video.
clean workmanship - looks so damn cool afterwards / maybe because of the neat wheel-/tire choice .. 🤩
that's a pretty wild channeling job - looks bitchin !!
What’s the cost to do this?

Yes, most of it applies to our sedan kit too
Killer video! You should do some more!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! A TOTALLY AWESOME FRAME!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!
I want to buy a pair of frame rails for my 47 Ford pickup.
Right?! I'm building a 46 panel, with a 98 Mk. 8 suspension and drive train. I've already built the frame, but this would be sweet! I probably spent a grand just building a floor (your coulda.landed a 747 on it!) to ensure a stable, level, build platform, all that! Plus the time and materials to weld it all up!
Awesome Stuff!
Sweet
Do you only have to do that if you want it low? I have a solid 29 Model A tudor body with wood in the floor.
