do you know if i could do skitours/climbs with this? not huge ones, but once in a while...
Hi! Yes you can use these for touring, no problem at all. Black Crows do make a specific touring version of the Orb, the Orb Freebird - this is a lighter weight version with the same shape. If it's occasional touring & mainly downhill performance you're after I'd stick to the standard version, but if you're looking to so a lot of touring & the weight of the ski is a factor, then go for the Orb Freebird.

Thank you! Been looking for a detailed review on this ski for a long time! This is the ski I was waiting to buy, however my next season will he in Canada and I currently ski K2 konic 78ti's, which I will keep for piste and lessons. Would you recommend I purchase a wider ski for Canada? (Want to practice powder skiing) or should I just get rid of the 78s and buy a more all rounder ski?
No problem, glad you liked the review! If you're looking for a ski to just hit powder then I'd go wider, but as an all rounder this is a great option. It's often easier to chat through this in more depth on the phone.
