- Just want to make a quick video on one of many reasons why you have to check in on your Salad rigs, including unnecessary downtime.
Do any of your Salad rigs do random funky stuff? What did you do to fix the issue?
Like and sub if you like the content. Thanks for watching!
I’ve never had that happen before.🤔 I check all my rigs via chrome Remote Desktop. Usually with the phone most of the time. Usually check my earnings history via the phone as well.
I have 5 rigs in a grow tent and getting to them physically isn’t worth the trouble.
I use those open air cases as they just fit inside a network rack shelf. They are in an enclosure in the tent, but I’m about cut down a 2 post rack to fit inside there instead. I want to open up more room for more rigs.
Microsoft called, they would like to talk with you about your Windows activation. Lol! Good video.
I'm getting around to it, I promise! :D Thanks for watching!
@buxtech just goofing around, I know of one guy that has almost 30 salad rigs same situation. :-)
I want to see a video where you get that coin valued
Can you make a tut for the vEthernet(WSL)
funny thing is I did shoot a video covering that, was supposed to be a short and then went way over so I turned it into a Video, except I kept it in vertical mode instead of switching so I need to reshoot it :D
Is "Chop Indefinitely" even an option?
@@fooferbob9230 When you “ pause till idle “ then it salad starts chopping after being idle, it will show “ chop indefinitely “ you set the time in your settings.
Default is 10min. I personally use 1min because salad is in my startup folder, I want it chopping immediately after reboot.
How much is the electricity cost for your SALAD operation?
I think electricity cost is around $100 per month while I’m making about 4x that give or take
@@buxtech So what I gather it must take you into the two year mark before you see any profit? Does running the machines 24/7 leave them prone to living a long enough life to make it profitable past your opportunity cost?
@@MR.B12312 yeah running the machines 24/7 doesn't hurt anything. I've mined parts for 3-4 years straight and they have happy homes in PCs now (as far as I know). The way I've bought and sold parts to optimize my setup, my ROI is already in the black so it's all gravy at this point. It's not a huge profit after electricity, but it's honest work.
