Love your tutorials, I see you having no issues with lagging. It’s frustrating just go from one action to another and have to wait. Any tips on this.

In general, lagging is either related to the computer itself or the objects that are being used. Some tools can be more data intensive than others.
For instance, when opening a png file and using Autotrace in the software, that adds a ton more data to the file - like exponentially more data. This can lead to lagging and each users computer will vary in how it is handled.
It really depends on what the user is doing and is a guessing game without knowing more exact details. But, I rarely encounter lagging and when I do, it's on a large graphic image or I'm asking the software to process a huge amount of data and recalculate things.

So the arrow has to always go to the top? You cannot flip the mat upside down with arrow facing down?

I know I answered this on the Facebook group, but I'll put it here too....
Yes, the mat can be loaded with the arrow facing in or out. The newer cutting mats have an arrow on both ends as well. The black arrow I refer to in the video is in reference to the virtual on-screen mat only. No matter what direction the black arrow faces on-screen, it is always the top of the cutting mat.

I missed the boat on high tech stuff. I bought the Cameo 4 thinking it was gonna be easy but I don't have a clue. I can do straight lines but none of that fancy stuff. Now it just collects dust

So my first suggestion is that you don't need to do fancy stuff or know it all to start. Heck, I don't even know it all even after teaching since 2016. I learn new things and new ways to do things all the time and this is my full-time job.
I would start with the basics. Cut a pre-made design from the Silhouette Design Store. Start simple. Simple shapes, simple text, etc.
When you do get into a bind or don't know something.... come find me or look at the A to Z list and see if I have a tutorial that covers it.
      silhouette-secrets.com/start-here-a-to-z/
I also have a Beginners class that will help get you setup properly and your first cuts under your belt. This is my most popular class and it gets users off to a great start right away, without all the anxiety - silhouette-secrets.teachable.com/courses
Dust it off and start off right. We all started at the same place... the beginning!!! So I know exactly how you feel!
