    19 minutes to say....make sure you enough support in front and back of the cutter for the mat. Got it.

      You would be amazed at how many users don't understand it even after watching the video. Some users need the visual and demonstration. Others can pick it up immediately and have no issues with the machine.
      We work with thousands of users every week, and many still don't set it up properly, even with the video.

    I've heard that there is a problem with the mat sliding; while cutting cardstock and even vinyl and Yes, the bar is down and the rollers are holding that mat and the mat ISN'T hanging. The machine is on a fully functional table/work space. However, the mat still shifts and slides, while cutting... That's a deciding factor for me. Not sure if it's really worth the hassle 🤔 Is it because the 24 inch mat, that comes with the PRO, is very thin?

      99%+ of the thousands & thousands of issues we have troubleshot in the 2+ years the Cameo has been out can be resolved by correcting something in the setup. The Cameo Pro is very, very specific in how it needs to be setup. The right roller has very specific locations that it can be locked in place. Even 1/16th of an inch to the right or left can make a big difference.
      I have a full course that is in depth.... if even 1 thing is off in the setup it can cause issues.

      Most times it's the right roller not locked in place properly, the table setup, or the cut settings causing the mat to skew. Too high of blade depth or force can cause this too.

      Mine is doing this now when I try to cut cardstock, and it is driving me crazy! It proceeds in normally and then after it starts for a few seconds the mat slides sideways and I have to pause it and unload. it has cut the top of my mat and the sides because of the sliding!!

    My cameo pro is missing the roll feed. Silhouette has been impossible to contact about this. They have zero customer support right now.

      The Cameo Pro has a cutting area of 24" wide. The Cameo Plus cuts 14.6" wide.

    Hi, can this cut stretchy fabric with the rotary cutter? Also I saw people saying that they have a cut overlapping problem when trying to cut past 6 inches down, has that been fixed? What would cause that?

    • @SilhouetteSecrets
      @SilhouetteSecrets  Год назад

      Stretchy fabric - probably not easily due to the stretch.
      In most cases, the overlapping cuts is due to how the user has the machine setup or the cut settings being used. Many do not have the machine set up properly with everything supported.

    my cameo pro is making a grinding/ crunching noise and its not cutting correctly. do you have a video I could watch to see maybe what's going on? thank you!!
    Also, Silhouette did an update, I have a Mac, didn't have problems before, tried downloading a legacy version, still has not fixed the problem. Thank you!

    • @SilhouetteSecrets
      @SilhouetteSecrets  10 месяцев назад

      Typically grinding or crunching noises mean there is something stuck in the machine. A small piece of material in the bottom roller bar, etc.
      You'll have to look closely.
      The MAC update will not have caused this.

      Okay, my machine is cutting but the cutting is off. If there is something stuck in the machine would this cause the cutting to be off on the machine? And thank you for your help, have a product I’m trying to get out today and am having these issues

    • @SilhouetteSecrets
      @SilhouetteSecrets  10 месяцев назад

      @troyallen3257 Yes, it could.... follow this exactly step-by-step, and when you do the steps, look closely for any small bits at all in the machine....

    I love my cameo 3....would not trade that for anything. I believe Silhouette has a design issue with this machine. The fact of its size is just waaay over the top, not to mention giving it all that space....

      A 24" width cutting machine is a large machine, no matter what brand it is.

  • @seferart1972
    @seferart1972 Год назад

    You don't say the silhouette cameo 4 pro 24inch the clip holding right hand don't have the same pressure with the other left hand that causing problem with straight cutting. The cameo plus is better.

    • @SilhouetteSecrets
      @SilhouetteSecrets  Год назад

      The left and right rollers on the Cameo Pro have the same pressure. They are both the same exact width and function the same. The rollers are different than a Cameo 4 12" model or the Cameo Plus.

    Why does my mat move even small one please i dislike this machine

    • @SilhouetteSecrets
      @SilhouetteSecrets  11 месяцев назад +1

      I would need more information to begin troubleshooting.
      In most cases, it's because the right roller is not locked in place properly. It is very, very specific where it needs to be.

  • @johnwest3953

    Nearly 20 minutes to say you need a large table. People want to know how to trouble shoot the machine i.e. how to adjust the cutting blade, how to prevent the vinyl from snagging etc. If someone puts it on a table that is too small it's there brain that needs trouble shooting not the machine. Sorry but you wasted all those years of your life and twenty minutes of mine learning not to be a plonker.

    • @SilhouetteSecrets
      @SilhouetteSecrets  5 месяцев назад

      That's why I have several troubleshooting videos and an in-depth course to cover all the issues a user might encounter with the Cameo Pro. And yes, it is completely on the user to have a large enough table.... there are still many who don't follow that and argue about it.
      Good luck and happy cutting!
