Yes I want to see the children's books. I have a 6 year old myself and a three year old. So so I would love to get some inspiration from my favorite book tuber.
The Passengers sounds super cool! super waaaant! And yes, if it's reminiscent of Knives Out, then YES!! The movie was super cool. Haven't had a movie catch me off guard like that in a while. ROM-COMS are the best! And totally want to get into mystery and agatha christie but... i'm such a scaredy cat. Hence my almost exclusively romance tbr list. ahhh... i need growth. Legendborn looks amazing! i waaant! Yes to children's books! I have an eight year old and a five year old. 8 year old likes graphic novels and 5 year old likes anything cutesy. Elf book might be for my husband though. He'll watch the movie year round. WOW!! Amazing list! can't wait to hear what you think of them!
I loved A Deadly Education! It felt fast paced to me. The only other Naomi Novik book I read was Spinning Silver, and her new one has a completely different feel and writing style.
Great haul! I would love to see what you get your kid. Because I have a 5 year old and I do not know what kind of books to get him. He's not interested in Reading it's a forced issue. We got him into The Gruffalo and everything that author writes is amazing.
i understand, my son goes through phases of loving books and then not loving them. Hopefully he will fall in love with them! all i can say it just borrow a bunch from the library and see if he grativates towards any of them...if he does go from there
as someone who is about to go back to school for early childhood education, I would LOVE to see the children's books! I already have an amazon wishlist of all the books I want for my future classroom and I would love to see what you recommend so I can keep adding to it!!!
Happy Birthday Heather- loving the eyeshadow!. Death on the nile is an excellent read- great haul. I am going to be ordering The Flip Side as well hopefully it will be a good read.
I don't jive with Ruth Ware either. I bought the turn of the key and didn't know it was a retelling of another book. I read all her books except "Mrs. Westaway." Another author who always disappoints me is Lisa Jewel. Have you read any of those books? Aloha
Long Way Down is amazing! I read the original, but haven’t taken a look at the graphic novel yet. Memorial looks so interesting. Every time I see These Violent Delights I want it because I love the cover. Then I am reminded it’s a Romeo and Juliet retelling. 😭
I enjoyed the video. Book hauls, book reviews and book un-boxings are my favorite to watch from you. I am definitely gonna check out The Passengers, I still have to read The One. I also want to read You Must Not Miss, those two are the ones that peeked my interest. Happy Belated Birthday! It's ok to splurge on yourself once in a while, you deserve it, don't feel bad about it. Looking forward to the next video!
I started Six Stories but DNF after the first chapter because the writing style was definitely not my thing 😅 I read Dating Makes Perfect on audio and absolutely hated it. It was REALLY cringy and badly written but I hope you like it! 🥰
Pretty Little Wife sounds right up my alley. Looking forward to your thoughts on it! I think with all the crap going on this year, breaking out of my normal thriller genre and reading a fluffy Christmas book might be really good for me. Sorry to hear you aren't really enjoying Six Stories. Blehhh Ruth Ware and I don't jive either. Added Pretty Little Wife and The Witch Hunter to my TBR! Love some nordic noir!
Have you read Anthony Horowitz's mystery novels? He has a series called The Word is Murder where he writes himself in the story! And another book/seires he has is called Magpie Murders, which has a book within a book! The second one comes out in November called Moonflower Murders. They are SO good!
I liked The Passengers. I listened to the audio and it was very well done. I am looking forward to curling up with Midwinter Murder and a hot drink. Maybe for #tistheseasonathon in front of a “fire”. ❄️😌 Happy Reading!
Enjoyed this video!!; I love watching you when I'm doing my math homework like it's literally the best! But I get so distracted fast! I really want to pick up these books!! The deadly education The one by John Marrs The road by Kristina H. Violent delights They're definitely on my to-be-read list! 🖤☕
I'm reading Death on the Nile too! I've been reading a lot of Christie lately. I picked it up from my library and I'm trying it out in Spanish. I used to listen to Jessica's pop group but I have no real interest in her book, to be honest.
I just googled it and got this...manga has a more flowy style, while graphic novels have a choppier feel to them. Most manga also have titles that were not fully translated into English, and an example of a graphic novel could be a more modern version of a comic book.
@@Bookables same, I just finished it five minutes ago 😂 I loved Luke like he was that spice that the book needed. I just didn’t care for Henry and Addie’s relationship and the ending made me mad 😫
