So thankful you guys liked it coz it was a blast driving those turns man. Thanks

      Yes it's beautiful place, that was my 1st time driving up there and might comeback again. I didn't know there was a lake close nearby. It was a blast driving up there and found it better than Ortega hwy. Last canyon l took when lt was turboed. Thanks

    California is SO Beautiful! The weather, the canyons etc. A shame the cost of living is SO INSANELY HIGH and that Governor. OOF. But the G23 sounds SO GOOD nonetheless. Great BUILD man. 👍🏻🔥

      It was a good place to visit. Not much cars using it on weekdays. I think because it closed down and no longer link on Angeles crest. Thanks

    Mine Idles @ 750-800 rpm. how come yours is so high buddy? any reasons?

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  6 месяцев назад

      It was set @1k by my tuner. He couldn't manipulate it thru the computer setting. It has something to do w/ my iacv setup. He fully closed the idle screw stop and adjusted the throttle plate stop screw to make the idle run correctly.

      @msmmaze 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@sagittnet2158 What ECU are you using? I could do it using MegaSquirt 2. If there are no leaks, that would be easy job. You just need to adjust the numbers resembling fully closed and fully open valve position. Setting correct numbers means a good resolution and precision.

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  6 месяцев назад

      @@msmmaze Chipped P28, l think what causing not to idle correctly are the 2 hoses that supply air to the iacv. It's a custom setup and it need to be larger than 1/4" diameter. Thank you though and it was retuned last week. Stay tuned for next episode.

    i wouldnt call it reliable... long term hg & sealing issues.

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  3 месяца назад

      The headgasket wasn't a issue anymore as long as we use the correct HG and plug the cyl head correctly. That's the reason l did a multiple engines on how to build it that l'm hoping some of new builders will not take a short cut. Take their time and pay attention on specs specially the rods.

      I couldnt really find the video you made on how to plug off the cylinder head, I just remember back in the early 2000's on hondatech forums there was several ways to go about it.

      @@WiserAsIGrow Sent you the link on how l plugged it. Whether you decide to use the KStune head plug or coolant expansion plug, always use a good sealant. Mega grey is the same as Hondabond and it's less the price.
