  • Ron travels to Hiroshima Japan to visit the site of the first atomic bomb dropped on August 6, 1945 to determine if a man made bomb shelter can withstand a direct Nuclear Blast. Ron gives you a tour of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and the Children's Peace Monument.

      Hate, or maybe greed, or hubris. It's what happens when man replaces God with self.

    • @Justafeller
      @Justafeller 10 месяцев назад

      Man is inherently evil. There is nothing good in man. All his best deeds are as filthy rags to God. It is only through the belief in man's heart and confession with his tongue that Jesus is Lord and Savior that must be saved from eternal damnation. Man can't earn his way into heaven. Jesus already paid the price. It's through Christ alone. He can save you right now. This very minute. And you will never be the same again. Ask God to forgive your sins and mean it. Ask Jesus into your heart. If you do this with strong conviction it is the Spirit of God leading you into the fold. For which you will remain until the day Christ comes back for all believers.

    I have really enjoyed your videos from Japan Ron, amazing sights and a lot to take in. Even those of us who have completed CBRN training have to take a few moments to take in the sheer destruction on those photos inflicted upon Hiroshima. Also the mazing strength of some material and design to withstand the blast, those bridges I did not expect to be so old!
    I remember some of the local older chaps in my hometown, (they had fought in the far east from 1941 onwards and many arrived back well after the war had ended, some were too ill to travel coming back 1946/47) and everyone of them said they had not been looking forward to taking on the Japanese on the home islands and had expected to be wiped out. So the bombs while awful in so many ways sent a message to Japan and they made sure we did not lose thousands of lives on our side, likewise the wider Japanese people and islands did not suffer more from the war. Thank you Ron for filming this, I really hope people take the time to watch all of it.

      The US didn't do the right thing. They did the only thing to a country that had already proven in Okinawa that they were gonna fight to the last Man, Woman, and child. Those bombs saved Millions from dying. A invasion force was on ships coming from Europe. My Dad was on one of those ships and was told the Japs were fanatical. They had just spent years fighting Nazis and the Germans soldiers were smart and surrendered when beat. Not the Japs. They would rather die. In War no one is right or wrong. Just pesky Humans wanting someone else stuff. They still do it and always will.

    One thing to note when visiting the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is that there is no explanation as to why the atomic bomb was dropped there. The museum's only explanation is that many Japanese people died in Japan due to the American atomic bomb attack.
    There is no mention of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor or of those killed in the surprise attack without a declaration of war.

In fact, there was the attack on Pearl Harbor and the massacre of civilians, and at that time, all of Japan made military parts in private homes and ultimately assembled them in factories, so even ordinary homes were military factories.
