With the maple wings I was expecting 9-10 pounds but 7 is some kind of miracle🤯🤯
Thanks so much for posting this. I just bought one in gloss black and was about to send it back as I thought it had a defective volume pot. Assuming it was volume/volume/bass eq/treble eq, when the other ‘volume’ is actually a pickup blend.
Love Spector, have owned 2, including an original NS-2 that I stupidly let get away! Might have mentioned the P pickup is reversed versus Fender. Congrats!

That's a nice bass, something I can't afford. That's why I bought the White Performer 4.
Sting is the reason I admire that bass so much. I wonder if it's because of the heavy neck why he doesn't play it anymore.
If your bass has Gotoh GB707 tuners (61 grammes) then just switch to Gotoh GB350 "Res-o-lite" tuners (39 grammes). This'll reduce some of the dive.

It sounds amazing !! I am in the process of ordering this very bass. How is the width / thickness of the neck ? - that is, from the fretboard to the back of the neck ? Is it playable ? I have a Performer and like the thin neck but looking to upgrade to this one now.

It really helps to have an idea of what you want to say before starting the camera. Lol. But cool bass! I love it in white, as well. I saw Sting on SNL in the early 90’s with it and wanted one ever since. Awesome score!
