June 2024 The White Temple, or Wat Rong Khun

The White Temple, or Wat Rong Khun, is a distinctive Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand. It’s known for its unique white exterior and glass decorations. Designed by Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, it’s a fusion of traditional and contemporary art styles. The temple began construction in 1997 and was completed in 2008, although new elements are still being added.
