Thank you! glad you like it!! We'll show Stolperbeats at Superbooth 2022 May 12 - 14. Release will be June 13 - they will be on sale at your friendly neighbourhood modular shops or directly from us: enrica@makingsoundmachines.com
In a nutshell, you have patterns displayed on the right, which you can select, edit and mute with one encoder per instrument. Alternatively, you can select with CV and mute with triggers. Shuffles are displayed on the left, with intensity from top to bottom, then different styles and feels you can select with buttons underneath the matrix. There's an encoder to select those, or you can use CV again. There are some other modifiers too, like linear drumming. The result is output a) as triggers for Euro modules b) as MIDI notes for drum machines. We'll release some more info on our website and manual stuff too in the coming days.
Is this 'just' switching between swing divisions that are applied to each trigger output or does this do the actual Dilla thing where each individual drum trigger output has its own swing percentage/delay? Either way it's a great idea to be able to easily switch to things like quintuple swing
The shuffles are applied in tandem to all tracks in the default "feeling." There are three alternate feelings you can apply that switch up the timing of triggers dynamically - one that does rolls, and two that delay some tracks in relation to each other. More in the manual when that comes up.
Unfortunately no, this would be no fun to DIY either as you'd potentially have to solder an insane amount of LEDs. But we promise we'll do more DIY projects in the future.
RRReally interesting module!
Thank you! Glad you like it!
i'm so excited for this. dream come true!
Ooooh, thank you. This project is very important to us, and playing with it is fun every time we turn the modular on!
And just like that... I'm buying one.
So groovy!
Thank you so much!
I'm definitely interested in this one! Always looking for interesting drum/trigger sequencers!
Thank you four interest! It can also be used with MIDI, so double the fun.
When and where can we buy one? Amazing!

Also did you ask J Dilla's estate whether you could put his name on there?
