      Yes, I like how Vincent reads each word individually in French, reads at normal speed, and reads the English. Most French teachers are impatient. Use a Textus Receptus (Latin: "received text") French Bible like David Martin. The King James Bible is from the Textus Receptus. Textus Receptus type manuscripts and versions have existed as the majority of texts for almost 2000 years.

      I learned French for five years in high school back in the 1970s, and I travelled to New Caledonia (from NZ) for a cultural exchange. It was excellent and I became quite fluent back then.
      I have always remembered quite a lot of vocabulary and the verb conjugations.

    • @izzy3995
      @izzy3995 8 лет назад +21

    • @scurvymouth
      @scurvymouth 7 лет назад +13

      what you are hearing is the effect of something called "enchainement". when spoken slowly, french words are their own creatures. however, when used in proper french cadence, the words blend together, causing the sound of the words to change. par example, le + oiseau = l'oiseau. the rules can be confusing for a beginner but a good french phonetics class will make you a pro in no time.

    • @dylanlim222
      @dylanlim222 7 лет назад

      Dana Balsley ssssssa

    • @Gary-pe4ce
      @Gary-pe4ce 3 года назад +2

      @@scurvymouth l'oiseau is the correct grammer. le ends with a vowel and oiseau starts with a vowel and so the determiner le and la becomes l' only when the proceeding word starts with vowel or h. Another example could be je mashed with any verbs. J'sais, j'suis (pronounced as shay and shui). Also it is found in normal conversation some articles are even dropped considering french is a language where not every word has to be said.

    People don’t still believe you can learn things while they sleep,… do they? This was proven to be ineffective a long time ago. This is right up there magic crystals for power and flat-earth people.
