    I think people can STOP and START when they have to pause, even if it takes days, weeks or months. Just mark where you stopped. I give the guy credit for going out of his way to produce this video. It's very well done.

      I think comparing your knowledge of your target language with a random language you don't know anything about could be very motivating. It sorta gives you an idea of how far you've gone.

    This is wonderful, not only did you do two languages, have them on the same screen, pronounce both languages amazingly and repeat the French twice with fixed visuals, you compiled them for us. Thank you so much.
    Edit: Also merci there is not a million ads!

    Vincent created a video based on repeated sentence patterns that will familiarize the listeners gradually with the grammars. In a view of a language teacher myself, this is pretty precise for "acquiring" a language. In fact, I watched videos for grammars on RUclips and got into textbooks and watched still various videos for phrases, vocabularies and conversation on RUclips to review the grammars or enhance the ability for listening and speaking, enabling me to acquire Spanish and French all on my own. Now I am on my way to pick up Italian. Therefore, If you doubt yourself if you can watch a video of an hour, two hours, or even 8 hours, at the same time, there are more others utilizing the videos of many made for free by those like Vincent! And these people like me succeeded in acquiring a new language! I can tell you I spent tremendous time (and now still) on those videos lasting for several hours little by little every day to finish watching them. If you doubt, take action yourself and don't just whine! Desire and perspiration accomplish everything!

    For me both English and French are foreign languages, so this video works great for learning both English and French! Thank you for putting this video together! Great job!

  • @catherine1004
    @catherine1004 5 лет назад +3

    While I watched videos, I would take note and write down each sentence and mark the liasons, the pronunciations I was not familiar with, and check the GOOGLE dictionary if I was encountered with a new word. Watching videos online is the best way to pick up a new language in a digital era. Guys, keep it up!

    This video is great. And in my opinion it’s perfect the way it is. It’s great for passive learning, for shadow learning, for pattern recognition, for pronunciation and for vocabulary building. No video is going to do the work for anyone. If people want to learn they can research learning techniques and then apply them to the video. The video is a fine tool the way it is. Thank you for making this! I personally have found it extremely useful. Merci beaucoup!
