Somebody should send this video to shaq asap Great breakdown on the different type of coverages...starting to see alot of defenses go to a 2-3 zone now, seems counterintuitive but if u got the personnel on the same page can be quite stifling for perimeter oriented offenses
Drop coverage is actually pretty good when done properly. The bucks defense in 2019-20 was historic by playing the deep drop but it relied on high energy high iq team defensive guards, one of the reasons I think the bucks regressed. They traded Eric for Jrue and Jrue is a great individual defender but not a great team defender
Fran Fraschilla has a couple of videos on RUclips that explains the multi level read of playing the PNR it's probably the most advanced "free" education online for the PNR for the offensive guard to learn you should check it out just type in Fran Fraschilla PNR reads
A lot of players play way to deep on drop. Get up with the screen get an arm bar on him so you can hedge the shooter and still recover to the screener.
The Korkmaz exemple is bad bad bad but for the fact that they try a hedge and show in pnr position that is useless away from 3 points. In this case the defendere on the ball should just go under
Dope explanation. Knowledgeable, clear, & concise. Showing good & bad examples. 💪🏾
I'm a Brit who's pretty new to b'ball. Vid explained p'n'r tactics nicely. Thanks, one of my best follows.
Great video! I would love to see more of this type of video in the future!

Your channel is hella underrated. This was solid 👌
Great vid. Very helpful after getting screamed at by my coach for not knowing the coverages
This might be one of my favorite comments ever right here! Glad I could help you out my guy.
Great video, I learned a lot man 💪🏾💯
Appreciate you watching!
this is the exact type of vid I was looking for thanks
Wow didn’t know there were so many ways to guard a Ball Screen 😮🔥 great vid
Great Job bro. Great teaching, clips, examples, and insight. 👊🏾

Had no clue the rescreen was a way to counter icing. Adding that one to my iq

Here after watching my Bulls continue to get killed on the pick and roll. Just tryna see what they could do against it
Watching this after Trey Young did whatever he wanted to do against the Knicks in Game 1.

Yeah drop coverage is trash, loved the use of Dame in JJ's podcast. I'll have to check it out
Had to get that in there. That episode dropped right as I started working on the vid, it’s 🔥.
2:18 is a carry 😂
So, basically, the switch is the best defense if you have the personnel.
Aka don’t do what Al Horford is doing to Damian Lillard 😂
ok bro?
Alot of those examples leave a offensive player wide open. Horrible.
The thing is u can’t defend a pick and roll the defense is always wrong
