I really love that you noticed it was stressed and stopped recording. Many youtubers often times forget that these are living creatures and I'm just glad you did that. Much respect, hope the lil guy or girl is still doing great!
Brilliant video mate, love the new blenny, it looks like it has settled in nicely, will be a great addition to your tank! Overall it looks great and loved seeing it under blues too! 👍
Love this channel - great update. Yes! I love my tailspot blenny, full of personality and always out and about. Super healthy and beautiful colouration. Rules the roost. Really looking forward to seeing the nano bowl.
Cheers Jay. They are great characters. At this rate the reef bowl will be filled with water by 2022, it's been in the pipeline for about 6 months already 😂
@@NanoTankReefer yeah mine was eating the puffs of Stomatella snail spawn yesterday, free food I suppose 😂 he so confident now and explores most of the tank hes rarely hiding which is great!
I never meet a Bleeny that I didn't like but I do love my Bleeny's, good choice. I love your aquascaping on the 10 gallon reef bowl, I would like to copy that idea but I would keep it dry. I think that you have figured out how to film better, I do not see anything that I disapprove of.
Not much has changed to be honest, it's my first time going there. Not a huge range of livestock or corals but what they did have were at fair prices. I think I have it too good with Reefkeeper Rugby and Kettering Aquatics right on my doorstep
Head over to Kettering at some point mate, you'll thank me later. Quite a small shop but absolutely packed out with top notch corals. Reefkeeper has a better selection of fish but for corals Kettering is my goto
Wish I got a tail spot instead of a midas. Saying that the midas is my daughters favourite. As for names I like Blenny Hill, your probably to young to remember Benny Hill though😂😂
20 gallons is a regular tank reef. 10 gallons is Nano reef. 5.5 is Pico reef. And you have a sump? Please dude, those are regular size easy reef tanks.
@@NanoTankReefer P.S. The 20 tall is the standard depth for most beginner guides that were tailored for small personal offices in the 1980's as the Micro. The ten is a Nano I am being told. The 40-60 is the regular size reef tank for the home living room. Just because it is easier and cheaper now does not mean you can move the goal post. It is cheating.
@@NanoTankReefer Its a must I say lol. Plus your nano setup has helped me so much over the past 24 hours after starting my 100 ltr tank from fresh. So thank you. 👍
What should we call the new Tailspot Blenny? Comment below 👇
Bob!!
You gotta comment on the feed dude, I don't think may will see it here
Benny!
@@rochellekuehne4154 I have some bad news about the blenny 😬 all will be explained in tomorrow's update... Let's just say he wasn't a model citizen 😂

Nano tank looking good. 👍🏴
Slim Jim the blenny.
Cheers mate
Absolutely love a tailspot blenny. Had one a few years ago. Had to be the best fish in the tank. Such characters…….
I could literally watch him for hours
Lovely new fish Tris. Tank looks great too. Bruce the Blenny.
Cheers buddy, I thought I'd show it off under some blues for once 🙈
Lenny the Blenny
I like this one!
Cool Fish! Call him Kevin
Cheers mate blennies are definitely one of my favourite fish. Full of character

@@NanoTankReefer don't rush these things, people are happy to wait - this hobby is expensive, especially with 3 tanks. I struggle with one 😂.
"No more zooming around" zooms around at 2:57
Benny the Blenny, the simple choice
I like it!
That was the exact name I also gave my old tailspot blenny haha
Name suggestion: “Bandit”
Yes!! That's a good one!
Thanks for the video!
Great fish mate! Mine loves to sit somewhere and watch whats going on! Loving Tyler Smith's "Benny the Blenny" got my vote/like!

Cute fish, I like Bearded Reef's suggestion 'Bob' :-)
We're going for the one with the most likes, make sure you drop his suggestion a like 😉
Benny the Blenny 👍
You could call him Mr.Squiggle
Beaker. Like beaker from the muppets.
Now that's a good one!
"It's really hot in the UK today"
Yeah sure it is... 😂😂😂
Did yours come out often? Mine hid all the time and I could only see his head poking out! of his hole! Cute little head though! LOL
I like the look of the reef bowl. what filtration will you use?
I haven't fully decided, it's still a work in progress but as soon as I have some updates you'll know 🙂
Bernie, the tailspot blenny
Great video mate
Cheers San
Omds you went to one of my locals 🤣 shame it’s shut down.
The tank is looking amazing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great video mate 👍

I called my tailspot blenny Benny the blenny
The nano is looking amazing
Thanks mate. It's coming along. I think it's about time I filled the empty spaces with a few more corals but overall I'm really happy with it
Amazing tank! Can I ask where you bought that amazing looking big Orange rockflower anemone in the middle of the 20 gal?
I got it from a place called BBA Atlantis
@@NanoTankReefer It's looking huge! Very beautiful
@@soddyqt8106 it's about 6 inches across now. It was only an inch and a half when I got it
Love the tank and the new fish 🐠
Cheers buddy 😁
Lovely fish and wow does that nano look incredible under blues
It’s funny, I was in a similar situation and now suddenly they’re everywhere and seeing lots of people picking them up in the UK.
It seems everyone got them in stock after I bought mine, I went to my LFS this weekend and they also has a couple in
For a female, I would suggest “Blenda” the Blenny. For a male, I would suggest “Blake” the Blenny. 😉
Enjoy the journey,
Jim
Cheers Jim 🙂
Finally some blues!!
Haha yeah, I thought it was about time
His name should be William the destroyer. But his friends just call him Bill.
😂😂😂 my favourite comment yet!!
Was your nano skimmer ever noisy?
One of my favourite fish
I agree, such characters!
Nice tanks look great, how come no ph acclimation?Ph shock is far worse than temp or salinity shock.
Cheers mate. I drip acclimate my fish until salinity matches but don't check any other parameters bar temp
"really really really hot" in the UK is what, 26 degrees celsius? lol
😅 32 where I was but yeah... Hot for here I should have said 😂😂
@@NanoTankReefer that's hot actually! I'm from the States we do get those temperatures on a regular basis in the summer. Your tanks look great!
How do you keep the tank free of hair algae? I have same tank
Just by Keeping nutrients in check. The tank has very little bio load and I don't overfeed 🙂
I know it's too late but I named my algae blenny Benny. Benny the blenny.
Nice one! What kind of sand did you use here?
I'm pretty sure it's Caribsea Fiji Pink Sand
@@NanoTankReefer thank you
No worries dude
Kenny to be honest thats what amro azul tv calls his lol
Kenny the blenny, it does have a ring to it!
Hi, nice tank 😉 I miss some hermit crabs here. Would be nice to see two or three also in this tank 👍

To be honest it looks pretty cool dry. Thanks! Hopefully my filming skills will keep improving as time goes on
Whts the dimensions of both tanks? N how many gallons r both?
Red Sea Reefer 250
Display tank length (cm) 90
Display tank height (cm) 53

Approx 66 gallong including the sump
Nuvo 20
Display DIMS: Length 23.16” Width: 11.38” Height: 13”

Does he go after algae?
Unfortunately not, it took a liking to my corals so he soon went back to the LFS
@@NanoTankReefer oh my. Thanks for the warning/sharing. I’ve been reading that they are good algae eaters…🤔
I have an orange spot blenny in my main tank and it's great for grazing algae. It also doesn't touch my corals 🙂
Nice fish not far from me then i guess 👍🏻

20 gallons is a regular tank reef.
10 gallons is Nano reef.
5.5 is Pico reef.

The Pico should now be the Aqueon 5.5 as the most available for most individual's amount of money per year.
Pss, Since this size is able to house the most, in a minimalist body, using the cheap ATO that uses water bottles, on the rimless.
