    @Sweet Red Poppy I loved this pattern. I have made two of them. I cut two body pieces and made it reversible. I also added some embroidery to customize them. Thanks for the free pattern and the great tutorial.

    Thank you for this super easy to follow tutorial. Just FYI for others: the adult apron is *very* large! It was huge on me (5’6 130lbs) but it ended up fitting my husband perfect. The shoulder straps and length of chest seems to have been based off a men’s physique. When I make again for myself or another woman, I’m going to really downsize the pattern.

      I second this! As a plus size woman (3xl top) this pattern is really nice since it covers everything an apron should cover but for smaller people it would be a bit crazy 😂

      Yes I agree with this. I'm by no means skinny but only 5'1" and it swamped me! I too gave it to my husband, but even for him, I moved the neck straps, in as the top even gaped on him. I've now cut out a smaller one from a template I made from an existing apron, but will follow the method which was nice and clear.

    Can someone tell me why I needed 1 1/3 yards of fabric instead of a yard? What am I not getting right? My 1 inch square printed out exactly at 1 inch square. I matched the stars and lines. What am I missing? I love how the aprons came out!

    • @Dbatem
      @Dbatem Год назад +1

      Because the pattern needs more than 1 yard.

    ok. i got a yard of fabric. the pattern extends 6" below the fabric and it isn't wide enough to place all of the pattern pieces. I got the fabric at Joann's and they did measure right before they cut. What's wrong?

  • @bjwnyack

    Your instructions do not say how wide the fabric should be. I just laid out the pattern and there is absolutely NO way one can get all the pieces to fit on 1 yard of 44" wide fabric. Now I have to go back to Joann's (which isn't very close) to get more fabric. Very disappointed!

    • @wifeoflurch3572
      @wifeoflurch3572 7 месяцев назад

      You are correct, she is not clear in the beginning when she states you only need a yard of fabric. That yard of fabric will only give you one apron.

    Can you could use a cricket presser while making the aprons to steam it?

    • @SweetRedPoppy
      @SweetRedPoppy  2 года назад

      You can use the Cricut Easy Press but it doesn't have steam. You'll need a spray bottle.
