Miss Julie, amazing. Love the way you put them all together. I really liked it when you showed us how to make envelopes two different ways. Love your wafflen and talking. It's so hard to believe that your girls are already 18 years old. You talked about them in most of your videos. They sure grow up fast. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰💖💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
Oh Julie I have tears running down my face and my cheeks ache from laughing so much! Your commentary is exactly what goes on in my head when I'm crafting! As you say, it's probably cos we're of a 'certain age'!! Congrats on your girls with their diagnosis, I work for the Royal Mencap Society and we struggle to get autism recognised under the age of 5, but things are getting easier for the next generation, at least now your girls will get the support they need throughout Uni, proud of you all! I loved your one sheet wonders tonight, I have some 12x12 lurking in my craft room that could do with a makeover! Thanks for the giggles and inspiration! AND LET POOR NALA IN!!!! 🤣😂❤❤❤
Thanks Jen love, glad you enjoyed it Mrs☺️ I'm so proud of my girls and how hard they have worked. Autism in girls is very misunderstood and that needs to change. I hope you're right love and things will get better. That's all I have to say about that 😅☺️🤗💜
Hi Julie. I'm going through an autism diagnosis for my 15 year old son. And I completely understand when you say it takes up a lot of time. It really does! I have a youtube channel myself and don't post content half as much as I'd like to. Fabulous video lovely Love, Shelby 💜
Julie, it is 3:30 am here in US, can't sleep but found you, thank goodness! Love your hints, tips, projects and could listen to you all day. Thanks for all you do for us. Sorry about the concert.
"Yes! Yes! I know what I'm doing....cause I am a crafter!" 😂 You made me laugh because this is how I am when I am trying something new, second guessing and figure it out. Love it!
I love the project so much but adore the description. Flippy flappy fun to distract me from the nightmare news. The punch is brilliant! Thank you Julie you are a constant companion in my studio.
@ ❤️ around 6 pm, I received a phone call from the assisted living facility that Mom had fell down and the paramedics were called. I notified my sisters and headed over to be with Mom at the emergency room while they checked her out. She had a big gash in the back of her head that they had to eventually put staples in. Hopefully today will be a lot better.
Triangular chocolate from triangular bees….Toblerone 😂😂😂 and `i’ve just scoffed some 😂😂😂 What a great idea Julie, love it.Will definitely be making some of these ❤
Im so sorry about you missing half of your concert, Julie! I know you were so excited about it. It's great to hear that your daughters are already getting offers from colleges! They must be a bit excited about that, too. I love your flippy flappy inserts. They look so easy to make! ❤
Thanks Teri love🤗 I know it was so disappointing, but still much better than not having seen them 😁 The girls are really excited, especially Bex, the eldest. She got the offer from her second choice within 24 hours. I'm so proud of them☺️ Anyhoo, so glad you like these Teri they really are very easy Mrs☺️🤗😁
Hello Julie!!! I also have twin girls, both on the spectrum, 30 yrs old and still at home...🙄...lol. So good to see you! I am so sorry about your concert, I know you were so looking forward to it.
That's terrifying to hear😐😂 All jokes aside I fully expect my youngest to be here far past 30. I can't complain though, they are my world. It's not easy is it love. Thanks so much Mrs🤗💜
@CameliaCraftsDesigns no not easy, but they are my life. With the therapist and other things, they can't afford to be on their own yet...one almost has her masters degree and the other well she dances to the beat of her own drum. 😆
Hi Julie happy to have you back I do understand you have girls to look after very good projects papers are lovely like idea with tape I will have to try happy you are well enjoy your girls and have fun with them thank you for sharing this project ❤❤ THEOLA
Lovely project and always a pleasure spending crafty time with you Julie! Your twins sound amazing and gives me so much hope for my middle boy who has Autism. Blessings from one mom to another. ☺️
Thank you for spending time with us. You are a breath of fresh air. I look forward to your Waffling❤😅Makes me happy. Shh 🤫 don’t tell anyone but there are times when I answer you! ❤❤❤
I am very glad you showed the envelope punch board. I got one and hardly use it because I could hardly ever get the folds right. Thank you. I love listening to you.
Aww - Julie! These look fabulous and I love your variations, especially the handmade envelopes and a pocket on the left. Lovely! Thank you so much for the mention. I have met a couple of your sweet watchers.
Enjoyed your video today. Glad to hear the girls are doing so well with University applications. It can be a worrying time and takes up parents time as well. All good wishes to you all.❤️😊🐈
Love the hint on turning using the envelope board. This is a perfect project. I was just looking at my 2024 calendar, and glad I didn't fussy cut it all up! Love these!
The tutorial on the use of the envelope board was actually very helpful indeed! May you should make a short version of that under its own title for later referral?
These inserts are fabulous, thanks for sharing. Happy to hear about your daughters getting into college. I have been to a concert once in my life and it was so loud and smokey, I never went again. stay safe, I heard it's pretty windy there, take care.
Hello hope you’re doing well. Thanks for your video I enjoy watching all your videos love your stories and your personality. Can’t wait to try I have alot of 12 by 12 papers I’ll have to watch again the video at my age lol. 😝 I understand that family comes first especially at that age I have 4 adult children and I remember those times. That’s when they need you the most . Take care till your next video. I have some crafting to do thanks for sharing and inspiring.
Hi Lisa love, we are thanks Mrs 🤗 I know what you mean love, I've forgotten how the instructions for turning on my printer started by the time I get to the end😅🤗💜
Hi Julie, I enjoy your waffling. Lol ! I like this idea, I just started a new journal, so I will be adding one or two of them. Thank you for sharing. 🙂❤️
Hi Julie, lovely project as usual. I’m trying not to buy anymore craft supplies. God help anyone that has the job of clearing my craft room once I’m gone!😅 We had the storm yesterday, not as bad as some places but still a bit scary. Lost some roof slates! My youngest son is 38 and he is autistic, no diagnosis, I had a hell of a time with him through school, no help at all. He is now a very skilled joiner/carpenter. I’m sorry, but I was in stitches reading your glue book page, have a look back around 38 minutes, some choice words. It’s my birthday today and we are meeting my eldest son, daughter in law and my granddaughter for lunch at a lovely Italian restaurant. Keep crafting when you can, I love to watch and listen. Take care x
I have an autistic grand daughter that now lives with me as her Mom passed away I am a senior and have very little help for her. She has depression and anxiety and dyslexia as well, so life is pretty difficult for us right now. School did nothing to help her. I live in Canada and am very frustrated and feel out of my depth most of the time.
So sorry to hear that love, but sadly I'm not surprised. She is very lucky to have you. Something needs to change, our beautiful children and grandchildren are being ignored in schools because helping them is too much work or expense and their problems are being kicked down the road to be dealt with by someone else. You are doing an amazing job by giving her a home and love. If I find any answers I'll pass them on Mrs🤗💜💜💜💜💜💜
A familiar story Sandra, but it shouldn't be should it. Happy to hear he carved out a career for himself. Yes I know what I just said 😅 AHH the glue book, now I remember why I usually tip them out and throw them in the recycle bin. I'll go take a peek. Happy belated birthday Mrs, I hope you had a wonderful time🤗💜
This was a great tutorial Julie. It could be taken much further as you say. Great news about the girls getting a diagnosis finally! Tough that it had taken so long though as they could have had so much more support. But hopefully going forward it will help. My grandson is almost 16 and his mum gets funding for him which has allowed him to have all sorts of educational support but also supports things like dancing, martial arts and other interests. I loved your inspiration too so going to check it out now. See you soon ❤
Hello Julie, glad to catch you today. I like watching you create. I'm learning so much. I will be so happy as I gather my supplies to create too. Have a marvelous weekend and thanks for sharing your talents. 🙂❤️
I made a cool looking embellishment today, I used the twisted paper handles, glued them and added a little ink and a gem in the centre. Usually I just throw them away, but I shall be doing more. Wish I could show you coz I am chuffed that I found a way to use the entire paper bag now! ❤❤
Julie I love when you come on with a new video - makes my day! Now, I need you to get your thinking cap on! I used to make mini albums.. gave them away or tried to sell but never made any money for time spent anyway.. gave up and now have 7 brand new Stamperia, Graphic 45 packs and ephemera all sitting here and really don’t know what to do with them. I can’t bear to cut them up as they were all bought as a collection to make albums. There must be others like me … what do we do either them? Love this idea and saved to do it at some stage in the future lol!
Good morning Julie! These are fun looking belly bands. I really enjoy your videos. TFS. You made me laugh about your growling cat. I have a cat that growls. He growls when someone rings the doorbell and then he runs and hides. Animals are funny, aren't they? Have a great one. 😊🤗❤
Very cute project. I'll check out Kathleen Mower's version too. I'm glad you got to go out and have fun. I haven't been to a concert since right before covid. 🩷
Thanks Kathleen love🤗 I love a good live concert. Hadn't been to one in about 10 years until a couple of years ago. Have yo say my daughter has good taste in some of the up and coming bands she likes 🤗💜
Wow! Beautiful! I was so happy to get the notification of you posting a video! I think I was missing you too much 😅I just look forward to all your videos and the way you teach and share 🙏🏽 I’ve made many of your projects and they turn out sooo well! I’m a newbie but my projects that I follow along with you turn out like I’ve been doing it for years 😂🎉Thank you Julie ❤
Hi Julie I have twins too. Boy and girl. My son was diagnosed at 16 so I feel your frustration. He actually just moved into home share. Thanks for talking about your girls.
Hi Julie. Greetings from Australia. Loved this project. I have quite a bit of 12x12 paper so I will definitely be making this. Regarding Temu, my sister in law purchased 3 dresses. ..non of them fitted. Also underwear that was in my opinion hideous 😨. Anyway, sorry about your concert. The only big name we've been to see was Neil Diamond. Our eldest son took us to see him when we turned 60. We had a great time and have never forgotten it. You really brightened my morning so thanks for sharing your humor. Val.Australia 🐨 💖
Hi Val love, glad you enjoyed it Mrs. There are a few good things to be had on temu, but unfortunately they seem to be buried under a pile of junk. Do sorry to hear of your experience love I like Niel diamond too. As a teenager I played The Jazz Singer constantly. What a wonderful experience you had there love😊🤗💜
I have followed you for a long time, and copied your talented videos for my journals, but today the way you showed how you use the letter punch as I have it and it seems that one corner never seems to be right I am going to try what you do as it seems to take care of where mine goes astray. Love the paper you are using as it happens I have this one here in Canada. Thanks for your wonderful fun tutorials
Julie, the advert you are thinking about was for Toblerone. Lo❤ed the ad.....it was a real ear-worm 🔼 Toblerone, Out on its own. Triangular chocolate. That’s Toblerone. Made with triangular almonds from triangular trees, And triangular honey from triangular bees. Oh, Mr Confectioner, pleeease. Give me Toblerone. Now you can sing the full version next time you're on a triangular project. These creations are great BTW - I think you should do no-spend for the rest of the year! P.S. You can try rubbing the lyrics and mispelt words off the washi-tape with a cotton bud dipped in acetone nail varnish or tip remover leaving you with a distressed effect. You wouldn't have to remove all, just make it indecipherable.
You are always such a treat to spend time with. These are adorable! Def going to make one for my coffee journal. I was attacked before from someone about this comment regarding Temu. I am VERY conscious about what I buy from them, but I still do buy from them. In the US we are strongly structured in Capitalism. And making items 1/16th of an inch different, or purposeful misspellings are the name of the game. I don’t like it, but it’s how it works here. It happens with so many other big companies. Temu is not the only one who is playing the game. It’s annoying for sure. And I believe it is morally important to not buy items that are copy cats. If you are worried, don’t buy it. But if you stop with Temu, you need to stop with companies like Proctor and Gamble. Which does this all the time. And sadly owns almost everything we end up buying. That’s my 2 cent opinion and I’ll shut up 😂. So happy your daughters are looking at universities. That is so exciting and a big accomplishment for them. And , it is thanks to your wonderful parenting. Hugs to Nala. Love and light ❤️🤗
Lovely! Best project for a wintry day! Have you tried cutting some aluminum foil through your envelope punch board? It does sharpen it a bit, do it about 5 or so times.
Good morning Julie, hope you are well❤ Another creative idea from you based on Kathleen Mowers video. I think I will make some using some very large map pages and I also have big encyclopaedia pages which may work for a junk journal. Thank you for your inspiration ❤BTW I think your little ditty was for toberlone the triangle chocolate with honey- but hey I could be wrong it wouldn’t be unknown lol. Sorry to hear you miss 1/2 the script concert and I think there should be some come back! Totally understand the difficulty the autistic children being a nanny to a 9 year old that also has ADHD he was on the neuro wait list since he was 31/2 and was seen a month ago and got his diagnosis and medication for the ADHD which has made life easier for him and especially his mammy. We think life is difficult bring up an autistic child but for them it is far worse- their head is always in turmoil. You get what you pay for with Temu. They have stolen so many creators designs for their own gain. I used to buy craft stuff from them but no longer- although I do understand why people buy them from Temu because of financial restraint.
Great video, julie! BTW I haven't heard from Gertrude lately. Hahaha Have you strangled her? Haha. Love the make . And the waffles. Have a fabulous day. Sending big hugs Sherry
Hi Julie so sorry that you missed half of your concert. What a bummer. The movie with Bette Midler is called the Rose and loosely focused on Janis Joplin's life. Very sad. The tape you have is called micropore...well that's what we call it here in New Zealand . You are an amazing women and i always look forward to hearing you and seeing what you are going to make. ❤
Wasn't triangular chocolate from triangular trees a toblerone advert not cheese ?😂 My son finally got his autism spectrum diagnosis this month at 21 his relief at finally knowing there's a reason he's always felt different to everyone else and unable to fit in has been quite profound. I've seen The Script a couple of times before the death of Mark, totally loved them but haven't felt I could go to see them again since he died 😥, anyway, enough waffling from me, these bellybands are lovely 😍 xx
My oldest grandson is 23 yoa and autistic. He cannot handle concerts. About 5 years ago we went to Opryland Hotel to see all the Christmas decorations and ride the boat on the little river inside and he was so jumpy in the crowds. So he just doesn't do crowds anymore. They used to never bother him.
My youngest is like that Kim. When they were younger I remember the school mum's not understanding why she wouldn't go to birthday parties and the like. Fireworks are hell for her too. My eldest is very different. She loves live music, but wears ear defenders to cope with the crowd noise🤗💜
It is not crafting w/o the cat. A lot of the videos I watch have their cats climbing on the desk wanting to help-so cute. Let Nala come in and help so we can admire her. >^..^
Omg, that's both amazing and sad Mrs. There's so much more I could say, but it would turn into a rant and I would probably be preaching to the choir. I hope it helps her and you as much as it has helped my girls and me love☺️🤗💜
I never use anything with words from any of those sites; SHEIN, AliExpress, or Temu. The spelling is awful, the common sayings are not cohesive or incomplete…infuriating. And as I get more sure of my design style I use a lot of printables. Anything I can’t print I just have to wait for sales.
I see exactly what you mean with these Theresa. Pity I forgot and then bloomin used them😐 I will go in with tiny labels or bits of lace or tissue paper to cover the dodgy wordage😅🤗💜
@ I have several items that I have no idea how to use purchased before I learned this. I never thought of copyright issues, since I don’t (until recently) publish anything. It just makes my eye twitch.
Miss Julie, amazing. Love the way you put them all together. I really liked it when you showed us how to make envelopes two different ways. Love your wafflen and talking.
Hi Patty love😊 Nala looks sweet but she is grumpy if she doesn't get what she wants and funny with it too. 🤗💜
@CameliaCraftsDesigns Your daughters sound like great young women.
Greetings from Canada! Loved it! Thanks so much!
Thank you again for sharing your brilliant ideas and yet another to justify my need to have the pretty papers
Another fantastic video! Thanks for the extra tips on the envelope making.
Wow!
Thank you so much Melissa🤗
Really glad to hear you love the projects and actually make them😁
🤗💜
Love these! Great idea as usual!
Thanks so much Wendy😊🤗💜
The script!!! I’m jealous!!! Love them! 😊
I was about 20 feet away after some careful weedling😅🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns aww cool! Would love to see them! And Coldplay too😘
Hi Julie
I have twins too. Boy and girl. My son was diagnosed at 16 so I feel your frustration. He actually just moved into home share. Thanks for talking about your girls.
That's great about your boy Shirley love☺️🤗💜
You are a math wizard, Julie!!!!! Thank you for a nice distraction from the freezing cold weather here in Toronto. I love this folio. Hugs, Jan
Thanks Jan love, you're very welcome.
Stay warm Mrs🤗💜
Do sorry to hear of your experience love
I like Niel diamond too. As a teenager I played The Jazz Singer constantly. What a wonderful experience you had there love😊🤗💜
Just wonderful.
Love this. I enjoy your videos so much. Tfs
Thanks love, you are so welcome. Hope your envelopes go better from now on Mrs 😁🤗💜
Awesome project. Thank you so much for sharing.
You are so welcome Sheamarie love, cheers Mrs 😊🤗💜
Hi Julie.. great project and the advert you were wondering about was for Toblerone hence the triangular chocolate 😂
Chocolate not cheese, might be a new rule for Mandy😅 thanks love🤗💜
I just got an envelope punchboard, so I'm looking forward to having envelopes that look like envelopes! I'm not successful at them by myself 😅❤
Hope my tips help love, thanks for watching 😊🤗💜
Julie, the advert you are thinking about was for Toblerone. Lo❤ed the ad.....it was a real ear-worm 🔼
Toblerone,
Out on its own.
Triangular chocolate.
That’s Toblerone.
Made with triangular almonds from triangular trees,
And triangular honey from triangular bees.
Toblerne, that was the advert not triangle cheese ! 😂. Julie. 😂 ❤ love the project as always. Keep up the waffling! ❤. Hugs Debbie. x
I want a toblerobe now. You all have better memory's than me and keep mentioning it😅
Thanks Debbie love 😁🤗💜
I'm sorry about the concert, thats terrible. I was hoping you were ok with the storm so I'm glad you're all doing well.
Sometimes I amazed myself. I know to do this with punches, but trying it with the punchboard never occurred to me, thanks Regina love😁🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns Same here when I saw on a video someone using a metal ruler to tear paper. It was like the first time I saw the sun!
Good morning Julie, hope you are well❤
Another creative idea from you based on Kathleen Mowers video.
My son is 20 on the autism spectrum. Challenging indeed. My daughter is 17 and she’s just a sassy handful 😅They keep me on my toes.
21.45 - hubby says its Toblerone ❤
Hello Julie 👋 hope you r well 😊
Hi Natalie love🤗💜
Great video, julie! BTW I haven't heard from Gertrude lately. Hahaha Have you strangled her? Haha. Love the make . And the waffles. Have a fabulous day. Sending big hugs Sherry
The triangle song was from a Toblerone advert x
Chocolate, cheese, nearly there Patricia, thanks love😁🤗💜
Hi Julie so sorry that you missed half of your concert. What a bummer. The movie with Bette Midler is called the Rose and loosely focused on Janis Joplin's life. Very sad. The tape you have is called micropore...well that's what we call it here in New Zealand . You are an amazing women and i always look forward to hearing you and seeing what you are going to make. ❤
It was toblerone Julie 😊 triangles
Darn it, now I want chocolate😅
Thanks Jackie love😁🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns 😂
Haha yeah Toblerone 1978 wow that’s a blast from the past 😅 great video as always Julie 💚💚💚💚
@@eileenjasonmalone5591Thanks Eileen love😁🤗💜
lol, I always say this is a quick little project! …. 40 minutes later 😂😂😘😘
😅 you know it Sue. You should see my quick snacks 😘🤗💜
@@CameliaCraftsDesigns 😂😂❤️
Hi Julie.
Hi Phyllis love☺️🤗💜🦑
🤩🥰😘😄
hi mi ole flower...it's storm Eowyn pronounced Ay-oh-win
Thanks lovely, it had clean fallen out of my noggin☺️🤗💜
It is not crafting w/o the cat. A lot of the videos I watch have their cats climbing on the desk wanting to help-so cute. Let Nala come in and help so we can admire her. >^..^
My daughter finally got her diagnosis this last year, she's 33.
Omg, that's both amazing and sad Mrs. There's so much more I could say, but it would turn into a rant and I would probably be preaching to the choir.
I hope it helps her and you as much as it has helped my girls and me love☺️🤗💜
Its Toblerone!
🫣🤭 I have a vague recollection of getting wrong before, thanks lovely 😁🤗💜
They maybe miss spelled it because of copy right
My mind is going of on many tangents now Victoria 😁🤗💜
