Huge influence on me falling in love with golf! Picked up some clubs several years ago and (whilst I'm no Tiger Woods!) I do love playing, just had my first lesson and cannot wait to get out there again! Your videos are so much fun, whilst being really informative and sometimes heartfelt. Surely Tubes has to be one of the best adverts for golf, out there? Firstly, he clearly absolutely loves the game and his enthusiasm has not dropped a bit in all this time. But in addition to that, given his love of football and the job he has since he was young, it’s probably safe to assume that he has a job he loves and his close to one of his top hobbies, yet golf, a brand new hobby which he had no involvement in prior, has brought him so much joy and happiness. Basically golf has out trumped his primary hobby!
Always love it when the bulldog is on the channel. Would be great for him to join you boys on a golf trip abroad in the summer 👌🏼 just started doing aim point myself, decided to use this winter to improve my putting so had a few lessons tuning my stroke and learning aim point 👍🏼
Love Jimmy and his pre shot descriptions. He's a font of golfing knowledge could listen and watch him all day. He talks the talk and definitely walks the walk. Great video tubes always like the content 👌
@@oppboy3344He clearly doesn’t know much about the golf swing. He said at one point that Tubes needs to learn to make the club head perpendicular when hitting the ball (or something to that effect). No good player hits the ball like that. Hands always lead to create shaft lean and compression. In any case, it doesn’t matter how good you are at the game, teaching it is completely different. I’m off +2 and my current coach doesn’t even play the game. But he has a deep understanding of athletic movement and mechanics, so he can teach.

@@oppboy3344 Tubes problem is an early extension that can only be fixed by changing his perspective of what a golf swing is. Why would you need to be a good golfer to teach someone else how to swing a club? It’s a perfectly natural movement. There’s nothing complicated about it. It’s as natural as throwing a ball - but you don’t go to the best ball thrower in the town to teach you how to throw a ball. Anyone who understands the natural flow of movement can teach it.
You have some great guests on this channel, but Jimmy is still the best for me. Great banter and I loved him talking through his shots in this one. Always great to hear from good golfers as to how we could all improve.

Do really enjoy this channel and content, as a Greenkeeper I have small nightmares as I never see a divot replaced,please tell me they go back off camera 🤣🤣 also a gimmie can’t be retracted, a putt can still be made after the concession but has to be agreed . Great channel guys.

Tubes even if someone gives me a gimme, I always put it out. I was told years ago by a good golfer that if you pick up every three or four foot putts, when you do have to hole out, say in a comp, then you’re not used to putting in from those distances. Love the channel mate 👌

Love Jim giving the advice. He’s so right about strike.. Strike is king… Would love to see Tubes’ right hand grip come over a touch. Very strong at the minute which usually means left but looks as though you compensate for it by having the hands forward at impact, making it go right.

I wouldn’t take his advice on it. He was mostly talking nonsense. Tubes needs to go to a pro who understands the mechanics and feel of a golf swing.
