- In this video, short game guru Dan Grieve gives 25-handicap golfer Richard Baker a lesson on bunker shot basics. Richard really struggles to get out of the sand consistently, so was hoping that Dan could work his magic and give him some pointers that will ensure he can get out on the first attempt every time.

I`m a 20 handicap (started playing a year ago) and according to Arccos my short game is 0.5 strokes gained on a scratch golfer. This has been 100% thanks to Dan Grieves. I truly agree there is no reason why any player can be Elite in the short game ... there is no physical limitation for this if you put the work in

All fair enough for ‘parkland’ bunkers with low faces and plenty of sand, what about pot bunkers with no sand on a links course?
